Sometimes I wonder: If the perfect girls are real, With flawless skin And silky hair To torment girls like me, eternaly.
Sometimes I wonder: If I really did find the perfect man, With the perfect friends And the perfect heart To heal my scars.
Sometimes I wonder: If I am the right girl for him With the scars still bleeding And all the room in my heart To give him a first chance.
Sometimes I wonder: If the nightmares will truly fade With the passing of the moon And reappear as day dreams To enhance my self esteem.

So much of your poetry like this speaks to me Mimi. Its poems like this that I cant say that I "like" or "dislike" but I identify with them. (I'm not hitting on you or trying to be offensive but you are pretty.)

ROFL Thanks, I try (with the first part).
I know I'm attractive, I just don't feel attractive, if that even makes sense. (Back story: My sister is one of those 'plastic-preppy-perfect-Barbie' girls, so high school wasn't a good time cuz her, my mom, and her friends would (and still do) get on my a** about my physical appearance (size and clothing styles) rather than congratulating my positive qualities.)

Staying on topic: Great poem I really felt it, Maybe because My wife and I have separated so many times before and I constantly am questioning if I'm good enough for her...
Riding the tangent: My parents never really noticed my music until my brother started playing then they only took enough notice to tell me how to play...

poem: great job... little of topic thing: do what you want because you want to do it, not because its what everyone else is doing... that way leads to a dull life, everyone at my school (including the freshman) think im a crazy psychopath... ask waffles (infinite knowledge) i walk around school with astuffed dog on my head because i want to not because everyone else thinks its wierd... so do waht you like, it leads to fun times... hahahaha...
