Anyone played it. It can end a number of different ways. Share your thoughts on it.

*Uses Necromancy to raise the Fallout 3 thread from the dead*
I played it and beat it in a week. I couldn't find any other quests that made me actually want to do them, so i sold the game.... not worth the heap of money i payed for it.

i played it and didn't even beat it... i guess i was expecting another oblivion and i didn't give it a fair chance, i sold it a few days after i bought it. But i'm looking forward to trying it again when the game of the year edition comes out. From what i heard you really haft to explore the world and go out there, in oblivion all the other little inns and things on you map don't really matter, but in fallout 3 they play a bigger role, for random encounters and quests and such, you cant just town hop like you do in oblivion, you haft to explore more in fallout 3 to enjoy it.

I borrowed my friends copy of fallout3 it was kickass i quickly made a character and acquired a plasma rifle, fatman (mini nuke launcher), and full tesla power armour. the V.A.T.S system never gets old and using the Ripper chainsaw blade is totally awesome. i would say i would give it a 100/10....to bad i havent beaten it yet.... sad but i am saving up for it. burning_eyes

I've played Fallout 3 a bit so far, haven't gotten too far into it. But as Dan Grizzles mentioned, exploring is a big part of the game. There are a lot of random encounters, like Brotherhood of Steel outcasts randomly appearing and going into battle with Raiders (In which I almost got blown up by three grenades in one spot) and seeing your first Deathclaw (particularly if you see it when you're still a low level)...Those are the best.
It's fun to be out trying to get to one place, and having interesting things pop up on the way. Not like Oblivion at all...Just riding your horse or fast-traveling, no. Fallout 3 is very different in that aspect.
And VATS is awesome. 3nodding

Ahhh good memories...
VATS is awesome... And yes the first time I saw a Deathclaw.... I nearly s**t my pants(level 3) I died like three times because I saved right before I saw it... sweatdrop Then I kicked its a** with sheer luck(I took out its leg).

I've played it.It's awesome but there are some annoying things like the level cap, no't many quests and the small map.
Is it just me or is bethesda's maps getting smaller and smaller?

They have to fit it all on one disk andmake it small enough for the consels to be able to actually run it. Its a progamming thing...
