Bailey Bacardi was a very patient big brother. He was forgiving, he was loving, and he was more than willing to work with a kid, despite a faults - such as drooling and trying to nom on things. However, just because he was patient did not mean he felt those habits should be encouraged or left uncorrected.
That was probably why he was seated at a nice outdoor restaurant with two toddlers, one of which he was trying to get to stop drooling. Absinthe Chartreuse Dartsmoore was commonly known to those who knew him as 'the drool bucket', due to his natural fault of slobbering a lot. Bailey had been attempting to train him out of it - and Ebby had been trying to help - but so far, he wasn't doing too well at it.
Sinny was trying, and it upset him that he was failing and making his siblings sad, but the toddler was having such a hard time keeping his spit in his mouth! It just wanted to fall out all the time when he was talking or giggling, or eating - he liked eating (or just nomming on people's hands. That was nice too). But drool was nasty! It was yucky! He didn't want to drool on everything! And yet he did!
So, yeah, they were all at an outdoor restaurant - seated in a corner - on that day. Today was a 'try to train Sinny to eat more carefully and less slobbery" day. And that is what they were doing.

Now that she had Nahuel's bike back, Ranza had resumed her lightspeed roaming of Durem. She got around quite easily on her two wheels, with a baseball card clipped to the back tire that made it sound like an engine with a cold.
But it was November, and a morning of adventures left her cold and hungry. She left the bike chained to a lamppost and set off into the market district in search of lunch. Her quest brought her to a sidewalk cafe, and she was about to sit down when she spotted a certain red someone who looked terribly familiar.
Bailey was probably not expecting to be assaulted by a parrot-girl in a pirate jacket, but assaulted he was.
"You! You were at the Halloween party!" exclaimed Ranza, who also recognized the drooly child beside him. She was totally blanking on his name, though.

Sinny remembered the funny girl from the party, even if she didn't remember him! "RANZA!" he exclaimed, waving wildly and giggling a little. Luckily, this time he managed to keep his oral fluids in his mouth.
"Oh, hello there." Bailey said, turning and smiling up at Esperanza.
"Yes, we were at the Halloween party. Or at least, Sinny and I were. Ebony was not." he said, indicating the small purple girl.
Ebby was staring up at Ranza with her closed-looking eyes, interested in the funny feathers on this girl's arms. How pretty!

Ranza smirked at the drooly baby, who she certainly remembered. Smart kid - he had remembered her name!
"Bailey, right?" she asked the red kid, trying to remember. "And I'm Ranza, as 'Sinny' already said."
She invited herself to sit in the empty fourth chair at the table. "You're very red," she observed.

"Yep, I'm Bailey. And yeah, that's Absinthe Chartreuse, called Sinny and Ebony Morgan, called Ebby." he properly introduced each of his siblings - one of them for the second time - before smiling back at the pirate girl.
"Yep, have been since I last grew. I used to be silver but I like this better." he said with a nod.
"Ebbeez poorpull" Sinny intoned, the syllables drawn out, pointing to his sister. He felt that statement relevant to the conversation.
Ebony was pleased to be seated there, talking to this new girl - Ranza seemed nice!. "You have pretty feathers."

Ranza was very pleased to be seated with two members of the rainbow, and more pleased for the complement. Bailey was suave, but she liked his siblings the longer she was around them.
"Thank you," she said, smoothing down an errant wing. "You're a nice shade, yourself. Both of you."
No one in her family was funny colors, though Nahuel and Orli were both a bit on the sallow side.

"Fankies!" the toddler girl squeaked happily, smiling up at Ranza and resting her head on her hands. Ebby was easily pleased and got along with people pretty well, so it was no surprise that she already thought Ranza was super cool.
"Sinny has leafies." she then intoned, pointing to her brother. "They aren't feathers but they're pretty."
Bailey grinned. "So how have you been, Ranza?"

"Pretty good," answered Ranza, flexing her knuckles. Between the three siblings, she could begin to guess which one was of the same magical origin as she was - Sinny, quite frankly, was most similar to herself in composition. The other two... well... she couldn't quite tell what they were.
"Leafies?" she asked, and looked over at the boy. Indeed he did.
"I've never been here before," she said. "What's good on the menu?"

"Donno. Bailey just brought us here." Ebby explained, looking over to her big brother for answers. He knew just about everything! At least in her eyes, anyway.
Absinthe giggled. He knew what food was good here! And he wanted some! "Peeeeeeeetsah!" he squeaked joyously.
Bails smirked at his little brother. "Looks like the squirt got to it before me. This place's best trait is their pizza - and they've got some awesome sauce and great toppings."

Ranza, who should have noticed that it was a pizzeria when she walked up, patted the change pouch on her belt to make sure it was still there and then reached for a menu. She examined it for a moment before declaring:
"I've never had pineapple pizza before."

"Well how about we get some then? My treat." Bails told her with a grin. "Sinny'll eat most anything and I'm almost positive Pineapple sounds like something Ebby'd love."

Ranza folded the menu and smiled happily. Well, that was easy! Maybe she'd spring for desert. If she was feeling generous.
"Do you guys live around here?" she asked, craning her neck to see if there was a waiter anywhere close to them.

"Hey Elisa!" Bailey motioned to someone standing behind Ranza and soon enough a pretty young waitress with a ponytail and glasses was at their side.
In a friendly manner, the girl looked down at Bailey. "Hey kiddo. Treating the siblings and a friend today? That's awful nice of you. What'll you be having?" she asked, her voice sweet and gentle.
"We've decided on a pineapple pizza, if you don't mind. Also, a cola, an iced tea, and a fruit punch - the last two in sippy cups." he told the waitress politely before turning back to Ranza, "What did you want to drink?"

"Hot cocoa," answered Ranza, who was well aware that it was a strange thing to drink with Pizza. But hey, she was cold! She smiled charmingly at the waitress, though it was difficult to do when you were missing some of your teeth.

Elisa smiled back at Ranza before she scribbled down their order on her sheet. "Okay, dears. I'll bring that round in a while."
When the waitress had gone, Bailey took the time to answer Esperanza's question. "Our home is a ways outside of town. We take a bus to get here. The little ones like the site-seeing." he explained with a nod.
"Lotsa pretty places on the way!" Ebby added for effect.
