Does anyone know if any feminist organizations give away any scholarships for women?

the guild doesn't move quite as fast as the forums; it might take a couple of days to generate some replies.
yes, i'm college-bound, but not for a few years; i don't know anything about scholarships yet. sorry i can't help you.

I dont know but im in high school. I only that my cousin got a half scholarship in american university and she's a girl.

www.scholarships.com maybe? it's a legitimate site, as far as i know; one of my friend's brothers used it.
i would love to get a scholarship or two, but i would prefer to leave them to the people who need them. my family can afford to send me to college; other equally bright kids' parents may not be able to.

Although it sounds like your really on the ball with scholarships, I tell you to always check the career resource room of your high school. Or where ever it is that you look for scholarships because they can expire so quickly. Thats the reason I never got any scholarships and will have to go to school on student loans. Go like at least once a week, it really will be worth it. Do you know of any feminist organizations around you? Maybe you could give them a call and ask. Its always worth a try.

i'm sure they do. i think i read about some feminist essay contest somewhere but it was already due or something. just google feminist scholarships or something.

I'm in college actually, no scholarship here. Though the ideas posted here seem like really good ideas... And I'm going to check them out. Going somewhere else in two years after all.
