"Ahaha, Bell, look! It's your favorite fi--" Renekai was too distracted to finish her sentence because of a large chunk of ice the was flying at her face.

Bell flew moodily above the pillar that was to be her starting spot. She would avoid landing on the pillars if at all possible-- they were really hot. The only thing that the heat was good for was creating thermals, making flying almost too easy. With some satisfaction, Bell considered that her opponent was also from some icy regions, and would find the heat just as uncomfortable as Bell did. Perhaps even more so, since her opponent couldn't fly. Bell smirked to herself, considering that, for once, she wouldn't be worse off...

Renekai returned from the floor, massaging her jaw. This happened every time they got the fire field... On the plus side, the ice was a good way to cool off. Until it melted and evaporated. Which it had already begun to do. "Get ready, Bell, this won't be easy..." Renekai said in a routine sort of way. I need a better pep talk, she thought lazily. Oh dear, the heat is making me tired... Renekai fanned herself with one hand, trying to ignore how sweaty she was getting.

Renekai grinned and gave Meeka the thumbs-up before saying, "Okay, Bell, use Captivate!" Renekai was awarded with another ice ball.

No. Not that attack... It was embarrassing... Still, what choice did she have? Feeling humiliated, Bell flounced in mid-air, flirting with Ebba to make him less likely to attack. She stopped as soon as she felt that she had done enough, and was determined to get her revenge on not only Renekai, but on Ebba, too.

Renekai laughed, having dodged the second ice ball in time. "Thanks, Bell!" she shouted, glad to have plenty of ice to keep cool. "Share with Meeka, won't you?" she teased.

Renekai grinned. This was the moment she was waiting for! Heat and tiredness forgotten, she shouted, "Counter!"

Bell's eyes glittered maliciously. This was her time for revenge (in part)! Bell easily dodged the attack because Ebba's tail was so short, then prepared to rake her talons over that gas-producing bum. Bell flew over the airborne Ebba, talons extended to tear from Ebba's tail to the small of his back before she would fly to safety. Bell may have been much smaller than Ebba was, but she was many times more ferocious.

"Watch ou--" Too late.

Bell froze in midair as the high voltage electricity pumped through her hollow bones. It seemed that gravity had no hold on her for a moment before she begain to float slowly down, smoking slightly. I. Hate. Electricity. Bell decided as the thermals slowed her fall. She flapped once, twice, and she was up in the air again. She watched sadly as some of her once-beautiful feathers floated down. That would take weeks to grow back...

"Brick Break!" Renekai commanded, before Bell could lose her temper and just fight out of control.

Bell flinched as the remnants of the lightning bolt crackled through her singed feathers, then dove down at Ebba, determined to get revenge for her poor feathers.

"Okay, Bell, use...!" Renekai allowed her voice to die, for Bell was acting of her own accord. Again.

Bell winced as the electrical beam surged through her, but she was now torpedoing towards Ebba. She lightly dragged on talon over a stone pillar as she flew at her frightful speed. She recieved a big static shock, but it reduced the damage to her feathers a bit, and most of the electricity left her body. Eyes, narrowed, Bell pumped her wings faster, reaching a speed that made her appear to be a blur. She was going to crash headlong into Ebba with a Brick Break attack... Well, that was one way to break bricks. Bell seemed to have forgotten the dangers of attempting to knock a large Stantler off of his pillar was for a bird of her size...

Renekai looked down and shook her head. Only when she heard a squawk from Bell-- whether from victory or failure, it was impossible to tell-- did she look up again.

"Dodge and Counter!" Renekai shouted.

Bell swerved out of the way, glad that her opponent's aim wasn't straight. She then swooped down again, this time making a daring move of heading right at Ebba's face. She was going to Counter Ebba's face inside out!

Renekai winced when she spotted Bell's motives. She loved Bell very much, but she did tend to get a little too violent... "Oh." Renekai said, looking at the puddles around her feet. Only, the puddles were evaporating! "I need more ice..."

"Try to get through and Counter!" Renekai shouted.

Bell did her best to dodge, but the tail hit her square on. Desperately, she tore at Ebba before the momentum carried her halfway across the stadium. Dazed, Bell got back up and tried to see how much damage had been done, or if she had missed entirely.
