Adhara had never before been to an amusement park, but Noah had decided that it would have been good for her. By the time they had arrived, their opinions were completely switched; Adhara was full of sugar, while Noah felt like he was going to be sick if they ate anything else, or if Adhara wanted them to go on another ride that went upside-down. Unlike her, he didn't have wings, and was quite paranoid that the ride was suddenly going to break, and he would fall to his utter doom. The thought was unpleasant.
To only make things worse, Adhara had recently been getting much more affectionate, which was only making Noah worry more. Her tentacles remained a separate entity, but as always, they seemed to take directions from her personality. As a result, they were being much more clingy and friendly to anyone who so much as replied to Adhara's pestering statements and persistent questions. For the moment, Noah was keeping the young girl as close as he possibly could. So far, she wasn't liking that much, and took every chance she could to get away from him.
Currently, she was cooing over a baby while a little girl -who appeared to be the other child's older sibling- played with one of Adhara's tentacles, which was humoring her as best it could without being too overly-affectionate. Noah was at a loss and was tired of trying to control the hyper child, and chose instead to lean against Guinevere, who had been sitting right next to him. She glanced down at him with a skeptic look. "Are you sure you don't want me to take her off your hands?"
Noah looked up at the woman tiredly. "No matter how much I would want that, I have a responsibility as a parent. No less, I wouldn't want to force her on someone else. If you wanted to take care of her when I leave town in a few weeks..."

Dartie had recently been making a habit of taking her children places separately to 'bond' with them at least a little (it was her parental duty). That day was Absinthe's day, so Ebony had big brother Bailey all to herself! The two of them were at the amusement park since he figured his little sister might enjoy the trip out and he hadn't actually been to one yet.
At present, Ebby was trying to figure out what to do first. There were people eeeeeeeeeverywhere and she just wanted to bounce around and hug people and see things! And Bailey was more than happy to tag along, provided she was safe.
It was at that point when the small girl noticed another child who seemed to have two very interesting little purply appendages on her back. Having very few manners presently developed, the toddler rushed over immediately to investigate them.
"Oooooooh! Pretties!" she squeaked, pointing at the tentacles on Adhara's sides and bouncing up and down.

Of course, it was Adhara's left tentacle that was the first to register the presence of the newcomer. It outstretched toward the smaller girl, and once she was in reach, it wrapped around her waist and tugged her into a place where Adhara could see her. Amber eyes blinked behind metal-rimmed glasses, and she stood, not noticing as the two children she'd been playing with previously were pulled away and reprimanded for talking to strangers. She grinned sheepishly as her other tentacle rubbed against the girl's face affectionately, and she made to pull both of them away, holding them, writhing, in both hands.
"U-uhm, th-thank you?" she replied, not sure that they really were all that pretty. Though, she didn't want to be stammering like Adriel, as that seemed to make it harder for the boy to make choices. She pushed herself to smile, as this girl actually looked a bit like herself- the same horns, and hair, and ears, though she was completely purple. This was only the second time that Adhara had ever really seen another spawn who was completely an abnormal colour, save when she met Mareike, who was more maroon than she was purple. Despite trying to keep both tentacles in her hands, one of them stretched out and pressed itself sweetly against the toddler's cheek, irritating the older girl just a bit.
"S'what's your name?" Adhi asked, hoping to at least know what to call the girl before she got molested by the hard-to-control appendages that had been becoming more-than-friendly since she went to meet J'her.

Ebby seemed to have no aversion to being pet at by the pretty purple appendages and actually softly rubbed the one that touched her face, giggling a little.
"I'm Ebony." she answered, fox eyes becoming even more crinkled as she smiled broadly at the bigger girl. "I like your tentacoos a lot. They're nice." she said.
Bailey smiled softly as he walked over to investigate. Normally, he'd probably be a little worried if his little sister looked like she might be the unwitting star of a hentai, but right now she seemed okay. The other girl was actually trying to hold the tentacles in place, and also, they kind of looked similar - maybe they came from the same place.

This was one of many times that Adhara was glad that Noah was as easily distracted as she was, while Guinevere thought it was better that children had time to themselves, and had the habit of distracting Noah as best she could, whenever she had the chance. The tentacle that was pet happily nuzzled into the little girl's hand, liking the kind attention that they only seemed to get from other children from Seven of Seven. Well, other children who didn't have tentacles that were at all similar to her's, as those always seemed to get in fights with each other, which didn't end very well.
"I'm Adhara," the lust spawn replied, trying to keep her other tentacle in control before it decided it wanted Ebony closer, as she was sure it would want to do it let go. The other one was being innocent enough, just mildly affectionate and loving the rare attention. She laughed a bit, her wings fluttering softly at the compliment to her tentacles, almost as though she wanted the attention to be more on them than the troublesome appendages. "Thanks. They are nice, but sometimes Noah says that they're 'too nice' and makes me stay at home for the day," she said nodding, pouting over at Noah, who was distracted with a plate of fries that he was stacking to build a miniature house with.
Adhi glanced up when the boy came over to the two of them, and waved at him, the newly released tentacle first trying to stroke Bailey's leg, before giving up on that quest and trying to get similar attention from Ebony, pressing into her free hand like a cat.

"That sounds no fun! You can never be too nice!" the kindness spawn mumbled as she freely pet the second tentacle too, happy to give it just as much affection as she was the first. She felt almost sad that she didn't have similar things, since they seemed so sweet. Oh well, she'd probably have no room for them anyway.
"well yes you can be but anyway." Bailey said, giving the one stray tentacle a look before it went off to Ebby as well. Yeah, keep them with her. He didn't need to be molested, thanks. At least not by those - and not by a kid.
"You have pretty wings too." Ebony cooed softly, looking up at the fluttering things as she softly pet the tentacles. Idly, the girl flapped her own wings a bit, feeling quite proud of them.

Adhara nodded in agreement with the little girl. "I think so, too, but a lot of the grown-ups tell me to stop it," she replied with a frown at the tentacles, one of which was trying to wrap itself around Ebony's waist, likely to pull the girl closer to Adhara, herself. "And then they get mad at me when I don't, but I can't really make them do stuff..." she mumbled this last bit, as though ashamed about her lack of control as far as her tentacles were concerned.
Adhi smiled happily at the compliment to her wings, and grinned at Ebony's as well. "Thanks- I like your's, too. They're a lot bigger than mine were when I was littler," she said with a smile, stretching her own wings in a semi-show-offish manner. "When you get bigger, your wings'll probably be bigger than mine, too!" she exclaimed, squeaking and turning a faint shade of pink when her left tentacle pulled the smaller girl closer to her, the other petting the small girl's blackish-purple hair. "Sorry," she said sheepishly, as though thinking that the girl was going to get mad. "They do that... sometimes..."

Ebby just giggled. "Whee!" she laughed when the tentacoo pulled her closer. "It likes me."
Bailey laughed. "You really don't have to worry much about Ebony getting mad about things like that. Child's one of the most affectionate things I have ever met and she's up for most anything, it seems."

Adhara laughed as well, acknowledging that the boy had said something, but not turning her attention away from her tentacles for fear that they would try to pull off either her dress or Ebony's, neither idea appealing to her in the least. "That's a good thing to know," she noted, replying to Bailey before patting Ebony on the head kindly, her eyes glancing every which-way, trying to find an interesting ride to go on. "Er, well, I think it's a good thing, anyway. I hope so.
"Hey Ebony, do you want to go see the rides?" she questioned, then thinking that she might have the perfect opportunity to try some kind of meat thing that Noah refused to let her eat for whatever reason he saw fit. "Or we could get something to eat? 'Cause- 'cause Noah gave me some money in case I wanted to get some food, and it's probably enough for both of us?" she suggested, ready to do most anything to get away from the slight embarrassment that her tentacles were causing as one held the two girls together and the other stroked Ebony's hair sweetly.

Ebby nodded emphatically. "Sure. I can go anywhere in the place, so long as Bailey can see me. He can come along behind us. He pays for himself." she explained, cheerfully holding onto Adhara's one tentacle like it was a leash holding her.

Adhara grinned despite the faint flush of embarrassment that had consumed part of her face. "Alright then!" she exclaimed happily, her first choice of action being to slip away from Ebony almost abruptly, startling the tentacle wrapped around the girl to slip mostly off, wrapping instead around her wrist, while the other one was pulled away completely. Adhi blinked at the one still clinging to the younger girl, but allowed it to stay attached as long as it wasn't going to do anything bad to the other girl. Or, well, anything 'bad' like what Noah claimed was bad. Speaking of whom.
"Hi, Adhi. Who's your friend?" the man was being nice enough, but Adhi had some reason to be skeptic of his kindness- she always seemed to. Likely because of the neglect in her previous home.
"This is Ebony. And this is..." Adhara looked up at the boy who was accompanying her new friend. "Um... I dun'no. We're gon'na go get some food, though."
"...right. Nice to meet the two of you. Adhi, make sure that you get something that's actually food this time, alright? You don't need anymore sugar today." The girl pouted up at her guardian, but was aware that his word was final. Even so, she would probably try to get something that was sugary, even if it was snuck into her normal food.
"'Kay," she said simply, her hand taking Ebony's while the tentacle was already wrapped around the girl's wrist. She tugged the girl off in the direction of food. "C'mon, Ebony!!"

Ebby was more than willing to let Adhara drag her off, running after eagerly and as fast as her little legs would carry her.
Bailey smiled sheepishly at Noah and shrugged before following the two girls.

Adhara tugged her new friend through the throng of people, her wings held close to her body so they wouldn't catch on anything, or hit anyone, or get pulled on by a passing child, all of which had happened at least once today. Finally, they came upon a small stand that offered things like pretzels, and pizza, and hotdogs, and churros, all of which minus the latter being more food-like than all the things that Adhi had had so far that day. Her stomach grumbled a bit at the thought of real food, and she put a finger to her lips, looking over the menu that she could now read, resisting the choice of ice cream which she really didn't need to have again that day.
"Mm... I want... a slice'a pepperoni pizza and... umm... a soft pretzel with salt," she said with a smile to the man at the counter, who scribbled it down and then looked back up, as though waiting for there to be more for the young girl to order, like she could ever eat more than that, even if she tried. She glanced over at her fox-eyed friend and smiled a bit. "What d'you want, Ebony?" she asked as politely as she could, her tentacles ruining her attempt to be polite by pulling Ebony up as close as she could be while the other one stroked her hair, twirling around her horns curiously, as well as tickling a bit behind her ears, though they honestly didn't mean to.

Ebby giggled and patted the tentacle tickling her ears. "Same please?" she asked sweetly, smiling to the man and then back up at Adhi. Yep, easy to please and not too picky, how nice.
Bailey walked up behind them at last and grinned. "Just make that three slices and three pretzels. And one small thing of nacho cheese - I know Ebby'll like that." the boy explained the last bit to Adhara. Ebby liked the cheese for some reason.

Adhara was very glad that the little girl didn't mind her tentacles, but it didn't help her face turning a slow shade of red, the smile on her faced a very slight bit embarrassed. She was happy that the other girl wanted the same thing that she did, though she was nervous that she, herself, might not like the pepperoni on the pizza she ordered. Of course, she could always pull them off and then eat the pizza with just the cheese. She looked up at the boy who'd been with Ebony since she'd arrived at the park curiously, and nodded a couple times. "We were never really introduced, huh? You're Bailey, right?" she asked curiously, before outstretching her hand to the boy, with a bit of difficulty given her current situation. "My name's Adhara, as I think you heard. 'S nice t'meet you."
After a short wait at the window, the server pushed out a tray with all the things they'd asked for stacked rather haphazardly on it. Adhara, being that she was the same age as the other boy, felt it was her obligation to carry the tray after she gave the server money to pay for the whole thing, despite the boy supposedly paying for himself. She held the thing a bit poorly, and took it to the closest table she could find, her tentacles still dragging the smaller girl along, thereby almost forcing her to sit beside Adhara when they were finally at the table with their food. She laughed sheepishly, and poked at her own slice of pizza. "I've never actually had meat before, this is the first time," she said, picking it up nervously, and finally taking a bite. She smiled happily at the taste, chewing and swallowing the bite she'd taken. "I really like it, though."
