I'm bored so i will make this so you guys can talk about how your parents or anyone keeps trying to stop you from listening to LP. I find nothing wrong with LP cuz they dont swear and all that crap but parents still hate it. Luckily, my parents dont do this but my friends parents do. Its sad 3nodding .

My people dont care what I listen to because they raised me to listen to songs that have meaning, true meaning to me and how I feel about my surroundings.

My dad doesnt care just as long as i am not swearing left and right when singing to the lyrics and my mom likes them 3nodding

that and they are old and the general population of parents are not used to bands like lp , korn etc..they prefer bands like the beatles

my mum lets me take my own course. i have been brought up with independance. i cant remember the last time i actualy relied on my mum for something.
so yeah, dont bother that much. but its not ignorance, i know shes like, takin a back seat, and watchin though. at first she was like... eh? wtf... then she got used to it, and actualy lieks everything i like. to tell the truth my mums sound. my dad... cant say much, donty stay with him. we dont talk music when i see him. mainly bikes....

My dad doesn't care, I don't think. He actually called me over to the computer to let me see a news report about LP donating to the tsunami victims. He's pretty cool with them.

My parantal units don't care. My dad is the one that actually got me into LP. My mom did kinda flip when she heard me listening to 99 problems/one step closer. she was like "Britni! What the hell are you listening too?! He says Motherf***er in every line!" But then she went and got the Cd anyways!
But my moms Boyfriend hates Lp. He says they are gay and have no talent. stare ...but then again he is stuck in the 80's xd

My parents don't hate LP ^_^ My dad thinks they are great, cause they don't swear and stuff. I was telling him about them and stuff when I was watching Collision Course at my grandparents, and he was watching to, and we just had a convo bout em! My mom doesn't mind em either, she just always spells their name wrong ^_^ lol.

Well,luckily that none of our parents care really at all if we listen to LP but some parents get all worked up about it. I let my friend burn Reanimation and his parents threw the burnt cd away cuz theyre all like " I dont want you listening to this crap! It'll rot your brain and you cant concentrate in school!" I eventually ran away before they could kill my LP cds that I had.

my mom doesn't like the lyrics. she also thinks that my music has sublminal messages in them. parents are very. . . . it's the generation gap. some of us are gonna become them when we're parents to. kinda scary. i, hopefully, won't.

I get really uncomfortable when my mom listens to LP screaming. But my mom likes the song Numb. So it's all good. :O
