The episode opens with Casey Jones flipping through the news, there has been a major upsurge in crime. A voice from the shadows comments on this, and Casey stands up in surprise, grabbing his lamp. He soon sees a familiar silhouette, and assumes it's Raph, and calms down. But, when he turns the lights on he is surprised to see Leo.
Leo suggests that the two of them should go out and do somethinga bout what they assume is a new threat; these crimes being too big for the Purple Dragons. Casey agrees, and dons his vigilante gear.
Elsewhere, two Purple Dragons are stealing a truck, and Casey and Leo are watching them. The two (dressed in matching outfits!) discuss how their boss, "no you dummy, he's master!" will be upset or something if they don't get this done quick. As they drive off, Leo jumps onto the truck, and Casey follows on his bike.
Above a train, a group of helicopters fly, and then a door opens! :O It's Hun! He's readying to steal whatever is being carried on the train. The Dragons lower, and start getting ready. Casey tells Leo that Hun's alive! Le gaspo! Then, they manage to get the stuff off the train, and drop it onto the truck.
MEANWHILE. At the White House, the President is yelling at Bishop for being a loser. Saying his department has been a waste of money and resources. One more screw up, and Bishop is done! This doesn't make Bishop happy, and what's worse, the shipment stolen from teh train was from his department! Grouchy, Bishop goes after the signal to try and get whatever was stolen back.
Casey and Leo (Now both on Casey's bike, as leo had to get off the truck) follow Hun and co to the a warehouse, where the Purple Dragons are now hiding. Hun delcares that no longer will the Dragons be merely a street gang, but a real criminal syndicate that is to be a force to be reckoned with in the Underworld. They start breaking up open the crates, and find a weird one.
Two GENIUS Purple Dragons decide to open up the really cold, odd looking container, and find a big block of ice, with something moving inside! Everyone's freaked out, and Hun approaches it, saying that that wasn't listed on teh shipment list! Gasssp! A weird creature hops out from the container and starts attacking Hun. Purple Dragons flee, and Casey and Leo find the creature on top of Hun. Hun manages to get the creature off, and then starts firing round after round at it with some high tech gun. It crawls away, bleeding green ooze, and then has a flashback to when it was a human on its wedding day! aww. It makes sad sounds and pulls it self back together. (This mosnter thing actually was pretty gross)
Leo and Casey fight Hun for a while, and then the mosnter comes back and attacks more. It breaks out of the warehouse and goes toward a residential area. Hun doesn't much care, but Casey and Leo go after it. Bishop and STockman are following it too. Bishop doesn't want to lose his job.
After a bit more fighting, a fire starts and an oil tanker 'splodes, and everyone goes off on their seperate ways. In a house nearby the fight, the wife of the monster (who was once a man) watches as her son comes down, saying he had a bad dream about daddy.
The episode ends with the creature looking out at the city sadly from the lake.
---------
I enjoyed this episode! We've got a few plot lines set up; Hun and the Purple Dragons, the monster, Bishop's desperation over possibly losing his funding, and Leo's continuing angst...
The monster's flashbacks were wonderfully sad, and we saw Bishop...What could this mean?! O_O I would liek to find out what this dude's full story is...
Next week's ep looks like it'll be good toooooo...

I got to sleep in tonight since this was an episode that was on the dvd I have. Do you mind telling me what the next ep is going to be about?
I liked this one too, though I saw it before I got several episodes of Leo being all angsty. Still it's nice to see him less "woe is me for I am depressed" and more "RAWR I'm angry I would kill you if this wasn't a kids show!"
Is the next one picking up where this left off by any chance? I want to see more of this monster! I agree that it's story was very sad and I want to see it end well!

Next week's episode isn't about the monster-dude, I think it's Rat King. At least I THINK it's Rat King, I'm not totally sure what he looks like. ^_^'

I'm assuming that Bishop was the monster's best man back when he was human... that's what it seemed to me, anyway.
That's definately Rat King next week. A lot of a** is going to be kicked.
I can't wait to see "Bad Day". I hear that's one Hell of an episode...
The president in today's episode was such a badass compared to our own... damn, I'd vote for him!

Presidents on tv are always way cooler than the real thing. West Wing anyone? HELLO I'd vote for that president!
I REALLY hope we get a continuation of this story because I need closure!

Lady Leonardo I REALLY hope we get a continuation of this story because I need closure! I'm hoping for that too, LL! Beautiful summary, Gohan. Overall, I enjoyed this Saturday's episode. It was nice to see some familiar faces... and we got to see the return of two of our most beloved characters: Stockman and Bishop! wink I am still wondering about the new "monster" character in this episode. I would like to know more about this mysterious navy officer. Leo's still lookin' very angsty. He's definitely been eating out of Raph's cereal bowl... I'm sure that Splinter will be a good shrink for Leo, when the two reunite. cool

This Leo angst thing is getting OLD. It's not furthering his character anymore it's just serving to make him more annoying.
I was really hoping this would only last for a few episodes but it's lasted for... however many there have been (5?) and it will last for at least 3 more... if it goes into the next season I'm not sure I'm even going to want to watch the damn thing. All it does is serve to piss me off.

See the crappy thing is since I buy the dvds I've been seeing some of the eps before they're shown on tv. So I'm actually a bit pissed off at Leo but I can't explain why b/c it's a spoiler.
Once you get to some of the future episodes you'll see what I mean and why I said it.

It's retarded the way they did it.
The last dvd had the first episode, Dragon's Brew and some other one that hasn't aired yet.
The dvd I just bought has what I think may be next week's ep (it had Rat King) and the Halloween episode.
They are releasing them in NO order, just throwing them on with other episodes. Odds are they won't bother to re-release them in order later either.

There are NO WalMarts anywhere in my little country town! And that sucks... there is a Kmart, however. I usually buy the DVD's at Best Buy if I can find them. 3nodding
