I remember I heard L's real name was revealed in the official Death Note guide. Does anyone know his actual name?

Indeed it is =) When you buy Death Note 13, it comes with a foiled Death Note character card of L. On it, in that wonderful shinigami font, you see L's name ^.^

 When I went to Japan about 2 years ago I got the 13th book and then came back to America and got it months later. Both the name cards have tiny differences, with the color and on the back are thick lines going across it like a star * but in the Japanese one it is so light you can't see it at all.
