Well the first races are over! They might possibly be held again in the future, but who knows? wink
I asked Sosi and she said we can bet xd let me get the betting system up n.n
Welcome to the first ever Talaye Races Event! *cheer*
Depending on the amount of participants, we shall hold multiple races. Each race's winner shall move on to the final race. The final race's winner shall recieve the Top Prize, a Rare Chocobo Guide egg! *cheer* 2nd and 3rd place will also win prizes!
The Prizes
Entering
To Enter, Do the following.
Post the name of your tala, stage, and pay a 500 gold fee to the guild (i.e. donate n.n)
He or She shall be placed on the first available race slot.
Funds are to benefit the guild heart
You can enter all the Talaye you own, but each tala can only enter in one race.
(If they win, they race in the finals)
How the Race shall work
Each race shall have 5 participants. Each tala has a designated number. Draco and Garth shall be our examples. Garth is #1, Draco is #3
Using Randomizer.org, I will randomize a set of 5 numbers. The first number belongs to #1, second number belongs to #2, so on and so forth. (5 steps max per randomize)
So let's say Garth get's lucky and recieves a full 5 steps. Draco is left behind with his 2 steps. But the next round Garth only recieves 1 step and Draco 4. Get it? First Tala to reach a full 15 steps and crosses the finish line wins! smile
If by chance 2 tala finish at the same time they shall race by themselves. The loser shall recieve a free item of their choice.

Bets can be placed beginning 30 minutes prior to the race.
You place bets on who is going to win the race. Only first place. Everyone has 100 coins to start off with. If you want to claim your 100 coins, post "I want my 100 coins!" and you shall be added to the list.
You can only claim gold once ._. you run out, you run out! So play wisely
Non-owners may bet! :3
You may claim your gold at any time
Coin Leader in bold
Coin OwnersCheck the main coin list <3 No use in my updating twice xd
Betting at the Races
30 minutes prior to the start of the race, bets may be placed. Just post the following:
"I want to bid $$ coins on tala #" (example: I want to bid 20 coins on tala 3"
You may bet for more than 1 tala per race. Odds on each race's participant will change depending on the amount of people bidding on that particular tala.
Odds for Race 7
Tala 1 ----- 1: 6
Tala 2 ----- 1: 3
Tala 3 ----- 1: 3
Tala 4 ----- 1: 2
Tala 5 ----- 1: 5
Tala 6 ----- 1: 3
You shall be paid depending on the odds :3
Odds calculated depending on bids >D
You are betting on who gets first place.

You may carry your gold to the next race event if you wish.
