I attempted to breed my vine dragons, both are the original variety of vines, to try my luck at getting an alternative form. I bred my female vine with one of my other colored males, no egg was produced. Thankfully I chose not to breed the two vines together because that would decrease my chances, because when I bred my male vine with a purple, I got an egg and I noticed something odd about it. I swear the coloring was a little off, so I went and checked out this one site that shows how to tell which is which by coloration and sure enough, I was right, it was an alternative vine!
What surprises me that it happened is that according to the site that there's only maybe a 10% chance of breeding normal dragons to get the alternative form, that it could very well take months. But here I go, second attempt in one day lands me an alternative form!

Wonder the odds of breeding an alt vine to get more alt vine dragons, because I could breed them for others (the one reason I breed)

 Yeah, when I wanted to get one for the first time, I didn't get one for like over a month. But then after I got my 1st one, I ended up getting so many that I didn't even take them anymore.

I had a very lucky breeding session last time: two golds, a silver, and an alt black.

I got lucky with my Silvers this week... 'First time they've ever produced any Silver eggs, and I ended up with two.
I have yet to get an Alt from either my Vines or my Blacks, though... They've been very uncooperative about that. stare

My vines are still being stubborn though. xD

I've been trying for weeks to breed an Alt Vine. I bred an Alt Black on the first try and have bred three others since then, go figure.

Gratz, all. Alt vine eggs seem to be flocking to me. I bred two and picked two up off the abandoned page. All I need now is an alt black. biggrin

My first attempt breeding my gold male gave me 2 gold eggs. My second attempt at breeding him gave me one gold. My silvers hate me. xd

Which breed have you been breeding your silvers too? Mine breed very well with the water dragons.

First silver male: Purple, Gaurdian, Black
Second silver male: White
Silver female: White [she's the only one that has given me silver and just 1]
