No...Way. Absolutely no way. No. Na'ima, Paladin of Bahamut's bloodline and a Healer of Matembezi'Wasakaji was NOT lost. Now...Na'ima wasn't prone to arrogance, but her directional skills were superb! And now...somehow...she had temporarily misplaced the path home. She looked around, trying to retrace her steps. Had she come from that way? No...didn't look familiar.

None of it looked familiar. She shook her head. Damn! She should have been paying attention to the path rather than her daydreams.

Narhari was out for another walk. He had to make sure he got every bit of this land in memory since he was the navigator. He'd have to know where everything was by heart, and make sure everyone knew where they were going. I was a very important job, even if it seemed like a small one. He wasn't a fighter, and had good memory about what he had seen, so this job was the only thing that really fit. He loved this pride. It was to balance the world of it's evil.

He saw something blue and green female. He'd seen her before, but never actually talked to her. In fact, he really hadn't talked to anyone. It was a shame, cause he was sure they were all very kind and interesting to communicate with. He was sure they had wonderful stories to tell. After realize who the other was, he made towards her kindly. Hoping that wouldn't frighten her at all. It'd not be good if she attacked him thinking he wasn't part of the pride.

Purple and white caught Na'ima's eyes, and she almost bristled. But her mind registered a fellow pride member, though he was one she hadn't talked to yet. Relaxing the muscles that had tried to tense, she smiled lightly and nodded her head to him.

"Good day. You're another in Mioyo's pride, yes?" Perhaps he could lead her back? "I'm one of the Healers, Na'ima."

"Yes, I am." He said kindly now, stopped a few feet in front of her. He sat down carefully. No reason to stand, if he didn't need to. He wasn't really lazy, just saving his energy if he needed to use it else were. His tail, on the other hand, didn't want to save any energy at all. For it was bouncing up and down upon the ground as if it had a mind of it's own. "I'm Narhari, the navigator." He told her.

"Is there a problem, Miss Na'ima?" He asked her. She looked as if she misplaced something, or was looking for something. Maybe even lost. He'd help as much as he could. He didn't want to leave a damsel in distress.

A navigator! Perfect! "Nice to meet you Narhari. And..." She sighed. "I'm afraid I've misplaced the path back to the dens. Paying more attention to my thoughts than the path my paws took." Better to be honest and regain a little dignity, than lie to attempt to keep it. Ugh...lie...A word she rather loathed.

"If...you wouldn't mind setting me in the right direction, I would be most appreciative."

Well, lucky that he found her then. He could actually put his work to a bit of the test. "Oh, well, your actually not too far from everything. Maybe a mile or two That way. "He lifted up a paw and pointed in the direction he had come from. "I could show you if you need?" He asked her.

He didn't want to make her walk alone, but wouldn't show her unless she really wished for him to join her."It's really easy to get lost out here. I do it from time to time." He said honestly. "But to get lost, is to learn your way around the lands of which we need to know. " he said with a smile. So really, it wasn't him who was lost at all, but him finding the land that needed marking with in his head.

Na'ima blinked. Well...that certainly made quite a bit of sense. She nodded, smiling sheepishly. "If you could guide me, that would be wonderful. A journey is always better with company." The joka'simba rather liked being around others when life permitted it. There was something comforting in the presence of another.

Perhaps it was the knowledge that she still lived? Or maybe that she was not alone. She wasn't sure, and Na'ima wasn't the sort to dwell on it for too long. "I can honestly say I likely won't get lost in this area again..."

Narhari smiled at her. "As you wish." He inclined his head. "When ever you wish to start getting back." He added. To him, it was always good to be a gentleman. Even if the other isn't kind at all. To him, everyone had a reason for being the way they were. He was very glad that she wasn't mean though. It was always good to run into nice felines. The other day, he had ran into a very not so nice cheetah female.

Had almost tried to kill him, but gave up. He wasn't sure why, but was thankful for it. The female could have taken him down easily, for he wouldn't have fought back at all. "Well, if you do get lost, Just shout my name. I'm sure to be in hearing distance of anywhere in the pride." He said with a nod. "So what brings you out here, anyways? If you don't mind me asking."

Na'ima's smile was relieved. She would much rather ensure she didn't get lost again, in case her thoughts wandered. "Now would be good, if you don't mind." For many, the phrase might have been rude...but Na'ima said it without a trace of malice or hurtful intent...just a polite statement.

Her fur tinted a bit red as she blushed. "Ah...I needed to clear my head, so I took a walk. And I'm afraid I let my thoughts get in the way of paying attention to my path." She didn't let it happen often...but she did miss her family. Even the misguided half left in the joka'kiota. But she knew, eventually, her brother and sister that followed her would find their way here...

After all, they were of like mind to her.

He chuckled. "Alrighty. Watch out though, there's a bit of a dip this way." He told her. He found nothing rude with what she had said. She wanted to go home, and that was more then understandable to him. His tail flicked as he started the way he said home was. "It's the only dip from now and the time we get to the pride. At least this way." He said. It wasn't a big dip, but enough to twist an ankle in.

"Oh, I know how that is" He said as her answer to his question. He didn't notice her blushing. For he wasn't looking at her that moment. He turned towards the other. "It'll be easy once we pass the dip. It's about 30 feet infront of us and hard to see until we get closer."

Na'ima made a noise of understanding, and followed quickly. It was nice, to walk with someone who didn't mind talking. Much better than the quiet journey she had made after splitting up with her siblings.

"You sound like you know the land as intimately as I know my plants." She smiled softly. "This pride seems to attract those who are truly masters of what they do." The thought of the cubs that would be growing up in the pride...Na'ima hoped some would follow in her paw prints. She would certainly be more than willing to help teach them.

"Yeah, I just have a good memory of things I've seen." He told her the truth." As for things I've heard, I couldn't remember them if my life depended on it." He chuckled "Like, I couldn't tell you for the life of me what type of grass we are walking on, or what type of trees were everywhere around here." Photographic memory had served him well in the past, and now it'd help his pride become successful. Or at least help a little bit.

Narhari didn't know how to teach such skills to anyone. It was just something that came naturally. It wasn't something that could be taught, he didn't think, but something that one was born with. Though if he did happen to cross a cub with his bit of skill, he'd help them shape it into something that could end up to be very useful down the road. For themselves, and the pride.

Na'ima chuckled. "I've got a decent memory of what I've seen. Usually landmarks, to tell me where I am. But I can tell you the name of every plant I've used, what it looks like...I can tell you each bone and where it lies in a lion or hybrid's body." That was her skill to be proud of. Na'ima was a talented healer who had striven to turn talent into genius.

"I would love to learn where they are in a cheetah or leopard's body though. I never really got to see many non-lions growing up. And hybrids were the only ones that lived with us." It was sad, really. Na'ima did so admire the other races. The cheetahs with their speed and grace, the leopards with their climbing prowess and deadly accuracy.

Narhari smiled. "Well, that's good to know. At least if I brake a bone, I'll know which bone I broke." he laughed. Which was more helpful then most would know. Though, he hoped to god he wouldn't break a bone any time soon. It really didn't sound like it'd be pleasant. "I've only really seen lions." He spoke.

"Some hybrids, but only since I came to this pride." He smiled. He didn't remember running into a leopard anyways, or a cheetah. He was sure they were magnificent creatures though.

Na'ima nodded. "Helps to know which areas need strengthening after a break or tear...Muscles tighten and bones weaken after such things if one isn't careful." And as a healer...well, Na'ima knew the greatest good often came from preventing such things.

"What was your life like before this pride? We all seem so...varied." Like her own birth-pride...but with a great deal less single-mindedness.
