Ginger walked around the caves she lived in. After Kashi had helped her fins this one she had done some exploring and had found a few other caves near hers. When she wasn't gathering flowers to make her living cave pretty and smell nice she was exploring the others to find things. She had found remains of long lost animals. Small bunnies, some birds and quite a few bats. But today she was sitting in front of her cave sniffing the flowers growing there. Today was not good for her...It had been a almost a year now since Kashi had told her she wasn't interested in her like she liked Kashi. She sighed and laid her head down. The grass and flowers around her were taller then her laying down so she was kinda hidden except for the big patch of missing flowers. She had been crying earlier and was just wanting to be out here with her flowers and try to forget about the big huge hole in her heart that she was sure would never be filled.

Shiba jumped up into the air cursed gently as she could see nothing around her but more flowers and grass. She fell back down on her feet slipping on a leaf and falling flat on her face. After cursing again began to walk through the forest of grass and stems sneezing at the pollen she knocked down from the flowers. why oh why did I think it was a good idea to search for father in this hell hole of beauty!?" Her voice was exhausted but she trudged on unaware of the df in her path.

Ginger lifted her head hearing someone coming. She sniffled a little, having started crying again, and sniffed the air. Female. She wondered where this female was going. And if she hadn't been so sad she might of tried to scare off the female but she was too heart broken and missed Kashi too much so she wanted to help if she could. She stood up and looked around and saw a red female moving about. "Hello?" she said hoping that the female would be nice.

Shiba jumped at the sound of the voice and ended up tripping on another leaf. She pulled herself up with her front paws and then looked over in the direction of the voice. There in all its glory was another dragonfly. "Oh thank Djia!" Shiba sighed heavily and laughed. She padded over to the new dragonfly who looked like she wasn't quite sure she wanted Shiba here. No matter, she looked nice enough...and daddy did teach her how to fight. "Hi, I'm Shiba....and well I'm afraid I'm rather lost...again...well..I'm not sure how one can get lost on a quest where you don't know where it ends..but i have..anyways..nice to meet you!"

Ginger looked at the new female and wondered why she was lost...and how she could be more clumsy then her self. "Hello. Its nice to meet you too." she said as she sat down and looked at her. "Well what are you looking for. I've lived here for almost a year so i'm pretty good with the area around here." she said. This female seemed nice. And Ginger really liked her ears and her nice red color. She sat there with her head tilted to the side looking over all the different looking parts of this new female.

Shiba sat down next to the new female. "Whew! I've been searching since daybreak....do everyday. You see I'm looking for my father. He took off in search of some revenge bit some time ago...and I'm trying to find him and bring him home. Trouble is...I don't know where he went...or the way back home..so I'm...well kinda perpetually lost." She yawned and leaned into Ginger's side exhausted. "So how about it...have you seen a grumpy red elder with intricate markings?"

Ginger stiffened a little. No ones been this close to her in a while...why was she close? She looked down at the exhausted female leaning on her and was thankful her blush wasn't going to be noticed. "Well i remember hearing some noises in the forest but i didn't see what it was or looked like cause i was too scared to see what it was. I like being alive." she said with a small giggle.

Ginger looked at her and tried to stabilize her heart rate. "Um well my name is Ginger." she said as she looked at the female then looked away. "Whats umm...your name?" She asked softly hoping that she wouldn't notice that she wouldn't notice.

"Why silly Ginger..I already told you my name." She giggled a little and then sat back up smiling sweetly at her. "...but...since I like you..I'll tell you again..I'm Shiba!"

Ginger laughed a little feeling silly. "Well i guess you did. Sorry about that." she said feeling silly. But Shiba said she liked her. She shifted a little and looked at her. "And why are you looking for your dad?" she asked softly wondering how she should react to the closeness this new female was showing.

Shiba frowned and looked across the vast expanse of the land that surrounded her. He had to be out there somewhere...just waiting for his family to find him..she just knew it. "Well he went searching for his great revenge..." she rolled her eyes and then looked back to Ginger. "He left our family shortly after we all grew to a size he deemed aceptable for growing up without a fathers influence. Though..he promissed he'd come back before we became adults...and well..he never came back." She sighed heavily. "I've been searching for such a long time now..."

Ginger looked at the female next to her. "Well i'm sorry you haven't been able to find him. I sure can try to help you search this area if you would like my help." she said as she shifted to look at this interesting female better.

"that would be great if you really didn't mind. Those flower fields make me so confused about which direction I'm going." She flopped back down on the ground next to ginger unable to decide whether she wanted to lay or sit up. "So whats your story? How come your out here all alone?"

Ginger looked over the girl and smiled a little. "I'll help." she said softly as she watched and thought of the best way to answer the girls question. Her attacks...Kashi...Feeling trapped and alone..."Well...When i was younger i was attacked and chased by males since i was old enough for them to have an intrest in me...And I was running from one when i hurt my self and found this female named Kashi...She knew alot of stuff and she helped me...and she helped me find this nice place to live. But...She didn't share the same feelings i started to have for her...So i just stay here. I like being by my self. And not many come out here so i don't have to worry about males coming after me." she said softly.
