It took me a littlewhile to get used to the .52's but after awhile it felt normal. I don't like the heavy bass .52's have... I prefer .50's and .48's for everythig. I've gone into Drop B with .48's. i love them :]

Jesus, drop B with 48's... That'd feel like playing with rubber bands to me. xP I use 11-50's for pretty much everything. I'll only tune down if there's a song I really want to learn how to play that's in an alternate tuning. My only rule is that I don't like going down to drop B or lower.

@Nameless Liberty: At that point I point the person to a baritone guitar and tell them to stop wasting their time. xp
@MAKQ: ...With that tuning it'd be more efficient to get a bass and tune up.

B and C are perfectoi love my guitar to sound very mammoth like lol I like mine to have those high notes that I love, but I want it to be low enough that even a simple riff can be heavy.
Drop B and C fit that category ;]
