Hello, my fellow geezers. As Gaia has seen fit to only allow its members to join one clan, some may be feeling the crunch to decide between which guild clan to join. One of our members had already started a clan for our geezers when I set this one up, not knowing she'd already done so. I am hopeful she'll affiliate with us.
In the meantime, please post a HELLO to each other.
Also, I am recruiting for some clan mods as currently, I'm it and not always able to get online each night. If you're interested, please send me a PM stating your interest, and why you'd like to be a mod.

Good, Thursday morning!
It could work that one clan be over 40s and the other clan over 20s? I haven't posted a great deal on the Geezers Guild, but do love reading the posts.
I am one of the AARP card holding members *looks over trifocals at the clan*
Just a thought on why few folk are joining the clan, possible that when they read the subject line that they have been declined by the Geezer clan, that they don't read the mail and delete it? I almost did that myself.

what is a mod???
how can I help????
We need to get organized.
What server are we going to use?????
What are we lacking in combinde skills?
Who needs to icrease what abilitys to make us stronger in the game???

As for this bit, I have an idea.
*grabs light bulb from above her head and adjusts it to avoid the glare*
My suggestion is to make ONE thread.. a sticky would make it better, and everyone make ONE post in it. Then, when we are playing,, we can edit our post to tell others what server we are on.
We could even post info about our stats in case some one is looking for a player with a specific ability or in a specific area of the world.

I like that idea Giggly....That would be a good way to see which place people are in so that we could benefit each other. I get on as often as I can, sometimes at work, like now, when I have a free second, and sometimes at home.....depending on the mood of my hubby and kids.

Anyone here every play an MMO before? I was high level WM/BM on FFXI online. I'm getting the hang of this game pretty fast. The above suggestions are pretty good. Another suggestion I have is that we should be posting what quest/event we are on in the game and then we could IM or post in the thread if we want to join that person in their quest. That way we can get a little more organized and help each other. Bigger groups during the quests make it easier not to die or have to run away.

I'm an MMOvet. I've been playing MMOs for the last 6 years or so..
I'm good at moderating, and I'm on practically daily. Right now, my work schedule consists of thursdays and saturdays, 5 am - noon-ish (varies). I'm rarely available on weekends, but that's the time it's EASIEST to find someone to be around.. so I'm sure someone else is available on the weekends? (5/7 days isn't bad, right?)
