Squeezed between a large Japanese man and an American business man who was talking quite loud into his cell muttering about how he had no reception stood Adda. She was walking home from school, heading to her job as dressing up an anime character and serving to people. Today she was granted to cosplay as Sailor Mercury. Oh goodness how she hated the fact she had to wear a wig. It was too itchy! Sniffling as she waved the smoke away from one smoking behind her, she checked her cell. 3:44 PM. She had time. As long as she was capable of catching her buss, she would not be late.
The light changed and the group of people began to walk. The pushed her to walk faster. But in truth, she was in no hurry. Suddenly, she heard a light clatter upon the floor. Turning around to see what had fell, she noticed her terminal card had dropped. She ran back after it, bumping into others who cursed and scoffed at her for her rude gesture. Bending down to obtain her card, the light changed and the cars began to reel and go. Adda stood there as she slowly picked up her card and smiled to herself while standing in the middle of the street. What she wasn't aware of was...the bus she had to catch was heading her way down the street.

It was just in his nature. As much as he hated it, above all else, Dain could never allow himself to stand by as an innocent person was injured. He told himself he didn't care, but at the moment, that was beside the point. He lunged out into the street to grab the oddly-dressed girl around the waist and pull her out of the way of the bus just in time.
Panting, Dain pushed her onto the sidewalk, where it was safe.
"Wh-what the hell is wrong with you people in this damn city?" He huffed, catching his breath quickly, though still racing with adrenaline. "Does all that damn hair-dye go into your brain or something!?" He felt free to insult her in english, automatically assuming she couldn't speak it.

Adda pushed the male away immediately, heaving slightly. "Pervert!" she kicked in his direction as she backed herself away from him. Of course she was returning his reply in English, since she came to believe that could only be the way he could understand her speech. "And for your information...!" she glared as she pulled off her wig, her bed head ebony strands falling towards her shoulder line. "I have black hair...!" In truth, Adda should be thanking the male now for saving her darned life. But of course, her paranoia set in before anything else. "Get away from me!" she bellowed, glaring and kicked herself back some more. "Stay away, away, AWAY!"
Adda was making quite a scene as she pounded her fists towards the floor. She looked like a toddler having a tantrum.

Growling grumpily and rolling his eyes, Dain turned to leave, but found himself blocked by a crowd of onlookers. Most of them were muttering to one another, but one or two shouted out happily that he'd saved the girl's life. Clearly, none of the people standing around them knew what was going on...and that was just fine with Dain.
"Look, you crazy cow," Dain huffed, squaring his shoulders. "I wasn't bad touching you, I saved your life! Idiot!" Again he went to turn away, but the jostling crowd forced him back to her.

Adda made a face. "Well, look, you disgusting pig!" she yelled back, her anger building up in her petite body. "You were indeed touching me! You know it! The only thing you were saving me from was nothing, nada, nyet!" And with that, the small Chinese gymnast broke out crying. She cried and cried, mumbling obscene sayings under her mouth. Some people went to comfort her, but she lashed at them with a glaring sneer.

Dain gave her a rather cruel face, screwing up his nose and bunching his eyebrows together. He knew the crowd was only getting thicker around them, and the only way out was to shut this girl up, and stop her from making even more of a scene. "Look, I'm..." He could barely bring himself to say it, "I'm sorry you took what I did the wrong way. But you were about to be hit by a bus, and it was grab you or let you die."
He gave a small, long-suffering sigh, "So...so ask me to do whatever you want to prove I'm not lying. Raise my arms and turn away, empty my pockets...whatever will reassure you."

Wiping away crocodile tears, Adda gave a look of sheer angst as she glared the other down. She was ready to deck a punch at him for no entire reason. But as she raised her hand to strike, something dark met the corner of her eye and slipped away. Panicking, she immediately grabbed his arm and tugged him away, shooting as far away as she can away from the sidewalk she was just saved from. She ran without question as her insides tensed, ceasing to the monster she had seen before and almost caused her to suffocate.
