Since this is Guy Fawkes Day I'd have to suggest V for Vendetta where the "terrorist" known as V fights against a future totalitatrian England. Some great gun pron near the end with a camera view inside a revolver and magazines dropping from guns in slow motion like smoking towers of metal. And the destruction of Parliament to fireworks and the 1812 Overture. Good stuff.

Not too much gun pron although it would have been cool if the grounds keeper pulled out a Savage Model 99 and tagged that damn gopher in the head, but that would make for an uneventful movie.

Band of Brothers, the TV series. How can a movie about the 101st Airborne fail?

Ooh, a classic. See if they have The Lost Battalion, too.

Fresnel Band of Brothers, the TV series. How can a movie about the 101st Airborne fail? I heard that they were actually dropped with M1A1 Carbines but in the series they all had M1 Garands? That's what I heard. But regardless the show is friggin awesome.

Barru Fresnel Band of Brothers, the TV series. How can a movie about the 101st Airborne fail? I heard that they were actually dropped with M1A1 Carbines but in the series they all had M1 Garands? That's what I heard. But regardless the show is friggin awesome. In the show, most had the carbines, but I think the officers (and noncoms?) had Garands. Spiers was a ******** maniac, though. Anybody who runs close enough to a live and angry Panzer to put his hand on the armor is certifiable.

We're also getting Hot Fuzz. If you guys haven't seen it yet it's a movie I would recommend. There isn't much gun use till the very end, but it's still great. It's almost like an IRL version of Doom. Fresnel Band of Brothers, the TV series. How can a movie about the 101st Airborne fail? I'll definitely have to get that. We already have it recorded on the DVR. Fresnel Ooh, a classic. See if they have The Lost Battalion, too. I'll look into it. Barru I heard that they were actually dropped with M1A1 Carbines but in the series they all had M1 Garands? That's what I heard. I think I saw part of the great escape. I slept through most of A bridge too far. crying I always sleep through movies in history class no matter how badass they are. I just feel so depleted. @_@

Seemed to work pretty well for him though.
