You're buying & selling fear My "UBER-MEGA MEMBER CONTEST" ends tomorrow [Nov. 6], & after that, it's going to be the first time I haven't had any major contests going on in this guild! eek
Not that there's a lack of contests 'round here, mind you. Just check out the Free Gold subforum; more & more members are taking matters into their own hands & hosting their own contests (which we highly encourage, by the way!).
But, no matter how many other contests are going on, I've become used to always hosting one myself, particularly ones where I give out pretty freakin' huge prizes.
I'd greatly appreciate everybody's feedback on what sort of contests they'd like to see? I've already held a big "Banner-Making" contest, a bigger "TekTek Me" contest, & an even bigger "Member Contest" ... are any of these contests you'd like to see again? What other ideas for contests do you have? What about an art contest? ... These are just questions to help get you started thinking!

How about a posting contest? I know that it's pretty difficult to keep track of that, but you can have a starting point for members that enter - and then at the end of the month or something, you can check their post count and see how many posts they had gathered during that entire month. It's a good way to keep the guild active, too. (:

I was thinking of like a donation event where a certain number of people to donate a certain amount of gold wins a prize and the donations are to the mule account so you can get prizes for the next event.

Extreme Rant contests, you chose a subject/topic, and ppl must rant. The best-est best rant-er gets gold!! (u would need judges)
"Finish the Sentence" contests, a person writes the beginning of a sentence, and ppl finish it. Best sentence-ending wins!!! (judges)

Ridiculous Excuses Contest! Someone writes a reason for an excuse/something, and ppl write excuses. Best excuse wins! (judges)

i think we should/could use zomg to are advantage ;D
different levels like gnomes last one standing fighting those (BTW they are hard to beat but give out tons of orbs and 1 or 2rings ;D)
