Keep us informed of important events going on in your life. New jobs, important deaths, births, moves, marriages, or whatever else you feel is important, keep us updated.

Yes, I did infact steal this from the Minions Guild, for all of you wondering.

So... Recently I've been thinking a lot about... Well, damn near everything. This has to be my worse emotional time since I've been in high school... This constant upset feeling, and physical ache.... It's been awful. I really am starting to think about joining the Army National Guard. It'll get me great experience in the area of work I hope to pursue, which for those of you who don't know, is Law Enforcement. (I'm not sure what, yet.) It'll get me money for college, which I so desperately need, and it will help me get into better shape. The main negative is that I have to loose a lot of weight before I enlist, and I want to do it soon. Another negative is that I'll probably have to do BCT (Basic Combat Training) over the summer... And that will probably conflict with softball, and definitely with another trip to Memphis... What are everyone's thoughts on it?

I didn't want to just edit my last post, because I think everyone will find interest in what happened today. Yesterday at school, a few African American students held little flags, walked around the school, waved it in people's faces, and chanted "Black Power". My brother, and his friends, have to be the biggest hicks in school, bar none. Well, since those guys waved their flags, Jake and his buddies waved theirs.... And were about arrested for a hate crime. Which wouldn't have held up, at all, in court, because walking around the halls, carrying a Confederate flag, and chanting "White Power" is not a hate crime... Moral of the story? I really hate going to school. Everyone is such a p***k anymore, that I'd almost rather justget my GED and get the hell away... I thought some people would find the first bit interesting...

Wow. Sounds like you never have a dull day at school. And that's not in the good way. (Does that make sense? I really wouldn't know, since I'm half asleep right now).

Well, update in Kristina's life:
Last night was my school leaver's dinner - I now officially have three days left as a student at St Mary's College, then I have just under a month of exams and I'll be an official adult! Go me!!! Hopefully I'll have some photo's up from leaver's dinner once I get my friend's permissions to post them - some of them are REALLY a**l about having their pictures up on gaia, so yeah.

Whether or not what your brother was doing at the time was or wasn't a hate crime, he's still a racist s**t-kicker. I'd like to see him clapped in irons and taken to the pokey, to be entirely honest. It's not a nice thing to say, but it isn't the first time and it probably won't be the last he'll be spending some time walled in and locked up. Sorry, hun; he may be your brother, but to me he's just another bigot.
Congrats, Kris. I look forward to seeing them.

So, today I played in a badminton tournament. Yay. ^_^ It was a whole lot of fun...and like all competitive sports, it put me in a lovely calm, passive kind of mood. That was nice.

I got home, and Mum asked me if I had fun...I told her I had, and that was all good. Of course, then Dad asked me if I won...I said no, he answered with "Why not?". I said that there was a point system, and that there were a lot of different rounds. He asked how many I won out of them, and when I said I didn't know, and he just said "Well, that's ridiculous." and walks off. x.x

So, today was mostly fun...but I feel kind of annoyed now. Grawr. Also, sorry if none of that really made sense. I just felt the need to post. Meh.

Yeah, school is never boring... Especially last year when some kid brought guns to school (No ammo, at all) to trade for some cocaine, and the kid that was supposed to be recieving them was going to take them to Chicago for the Latin Kings (one of the two major gangs in Chicago).

Another update, and it's still not good.... I had another knee appointment today... This is my second with an Orthepedic Surgeon. I wasn't supposed to go back until the 8th of December, but I have had more pain than before, and some pain in a different area. He thinks I may have torn something, so I have an MRI tomorrow... And a follow up appointment next Monday. All because of a wanna-be badass P.E. teacher, who made me do gymnastics.... So now my doctor's note reads "No pivotting, running, cutting, or gymnastics activities until further notice." I'm pretty scared..

Edit: Ohh, yeah... I got pulled over Saturday for speeding. 34 in a 25MPH speed zone... The officer thought that I was drunk because I supposedly rolled a stop sign, which I didn't think I did... And I only got a written warning for it. Not too bad. If I get pulled over in months for speeding again, I get a ticket, though... Anyways... I need to get going back to school... Wish me luck in Spanish II. X.X

Good luck in Spanish II!!!

And good luck with the Orthepedic Surgeon. I've had problems with teachers who have tried to make me do P.E regardless of notes from doctors, and my Mum is currently waiting for her second run of surgery on her ankle.

Yesterday was my Year 13 Assembley at school - where all the Year 13s host a school assembley and give our candles to our chosen students. I think almost everyone but me cried! My girl (Virginia) cried when she read the card I made her. And I couldn't cry! I felt like a social reject.....

EDIT:
IT'S MY LAST FULL DAY OF HIGHSCHOOL TODAY!!!

Oh, Jacki, what's the other major gang in Chicago? These are the kind of things that I really suppose I should know. I've never heard of the Latin Kings.

Gangster Disciples is the other major gang of Chicago. The Kings started in Chicago, and branched from there... Their nation wide. You don't even want to know how I know. Long complicated story.

Oh, but I do.

Oh, but I do.
Seriously?... Okay... Ryan is my sister's fiance. Ryan's uncle is pretty high up in the Kings. (I believe he's an "Inca", but I could be wrong.) Ryan's older brother, Chris, beat up a King. The only reason the Kings didn't retaliate was because his uncle controlled that part of the Kings' "territory". The only reason I know this is because Ryan had a fit because he thought his brother was going to be killed while I was visiting my sister at college... Since then their uncle was killed, and Chris did the smart thing, and moved to Florida....

I know it's an unkind and offensive thing to say, but seriously honey...The fact that you came from the same family as those you are related to is amazing.

That's not my family, dear... Well... Not yet, anyways. It's my soon-to-be brother-in-law's family.

Well for one, I do consider that to be family, though even if I didn't, this is the guy that your sister chose as "The one." Just using that, one could make some pretty severe judgments about her character.
