The wind rippled the serpentine pattern on this she-wolf's back as she strode from the land of sin. Piper's territory... Gomorrah.

A shudder ran down her spine.

It was only two years ago that she'd lost her brother, Laos. She'd been separated...or perhaps she'd wandered too far away. She was young and stupid. There wasn't a day in the past where she didn't blame herself for being in this situation.

Only two years since that wolf Tabansi had brought her here. "I'll take you home," he'd assured her, only to lead her here and say "surprise!"...

Two years since he'd used her, because she couldn't say no. Two years since she'd learned under the warrior, Ziva. Two years since a litter of pups born into Sin were birthed. And one of those pups was the alpha.

An alpha who she knew was planning her mother's defeat. Either leave Gomorrah or die.

And Gerda was more than happy to leave. It would just wait until the day that she was kicked out and declared a 'loner'. She wouldn't leave Sikittol alone.

So day in and day out, she paced the border, hoping to see a familiar face or two but it never happened. So here she was again.

The Wolf had begun to grow weary of the area.. Sure he'd been here to seek his sister, and he had liked the place a great deal.. But that was then, this was now, and the cold hearted wolf was bored.

He had been accepted into Aqua Azul, quite readily by a sister who had more than celebrated his return. They were free, free from the binding seers that had deemed them impure as puppies, and had tried to end their lives. Frost had been smarter, he had waited till teh elder called him away from his den and his family.

And when he was out in the middle of the forests, where Frost had considered his home for his entire life..short as it may have been, he had been an older pup, already around the late months of his first year. And when the elder beat him and went for his throat, Frost rose up, latching his maw around the big male, bringing him down coughing and wheezing, while Frost made a mad dash away..

But here he was, ready for the night. It was a nice night, nice stars, and Frost was ready for action.

Gerda's hips swayed as she padded through the dense underbrush, her ears always up, always listening. Being mute made her rely on her other senses a whole lot more; that had been the luck with Laos- he'd spoken for her and she'd listened for him.

For her, being in a pack was more of a pain than it was worth. Sure, she had safety, but for how long? How long before her daughter actually pulled rank and got rid of her? How long before the litter of them gathered together to knock her off?

Gomorrah had never been a true home. How could it be? She couldn't remember her true home, or if she'd ever belonged anywhere.

Gerda only knew wandering.

The lean male padded, head low through the frosted lands that had been happeneing spurratically in the winter mmonths. He enjoyed the cold weather.. Maybe he'd stick around a bit longer.. But his emerald fire eyes gleamed with a spark as he notcied the female trotting through the forest like himself. She was a lovely ivory color, with a ...reptile marking along her back. She looked dangerous, and it made Frost's interested perk.. Then again...she was attractive, that alone got his attention.

He smiled, walking closer to her, silently through the trees and brush.He was unheard, and he was graceful and lithe. But he smiled as she came closer, perking his head out of the bush, and saying Boo, in his charming tone.

She was raised as a beta, so it was hard to keep her head and tail lowered as she moved, knowing that being assertive might set some wolves off. And she was the last wolfess looking for a battle.

The scent of a male tickled her nose and she paused mid-stride to look around, only to find nothing. Ears flickered back, then a flower of fear bloomed in her heart at the words spoken too close to her ear for comfort.

With a small yelp, she spun around to face the icy pelted loner, her own body stiff. She opened her maw and let out a squeak of indignance, then cocked her head.

====

He grinned mischeviously, raising one eyebrow and cocking his own head. He had frightened her, but that was good. She was no seer, as she had not heard him approach..and because she wasnt seer, he would let her live. But he smiled again, his tail somewhat the same as hers, to show that he saw himself not lower nor higher than her, so he'd give her exactly the right clue as to what his intentions were.He would not back down..but he would not start a fight..not yet.

But his maw opened, and he spoke to her with his chilly voice that carried seduction, but intelligence. "Why, hello there."

===

Gerda blinked back a blush, turning her head away and directing her gaze to her paws, which were held together at the ankles. Her tail lowered even more when she peered back up at him. He wasn't going to attack... Her breath rushed out of her chest in a woosh.

Then she smiled up at him, an attempt to be friendly. Hello there, she wanted to repeat. Instead, she sat down and grinned a toothy grin.

===

He smiled again, realizing that she would not speak, nor could she..He had had soem mute friends before, and he swore could tell what she was saying. He nodded. "Ah, so you are one without words.Good thing I dont need words to communicate with you."He said grinning.Oh he was a bad wolf, but only he could tell his intentions with the words..He sounded charming and pleasant to anyone else. His tootyh grin only made him look quite mad, which..He may have been as it was argued that he was a tinge insane. He just found that to be part of his charm..Specially if no one knew about it. It was a divinely hidden secret.

'Good thing I don't need words to communicate with you...' The words were almost chilling to the she-wolf. What did he mean? Everyone needed words. Her ears flickered forwards, pricking up for a moment. She tilted her head to one side, and stamped a paw on the frosty ground. What did he mean with that grin and that charm?
