I like the D-20's a lot more than spin-down counters. If they're going to make spindowns, however, they need to make dual sided ones so you can track your opponent's life total.

I would agre with the above.
However, it really doesn't bother me too much either way. As long as I can keep track of the life totals of myself and my opponent, I'm a happy camper.
Also, my life total D-20 is always my gargantuan ceramic D-20 (weighs a little over a pound, and is about the size of a baseball). I only use it, however, if I'm not playing a token creature deck. I mean, having a gigantic life counter is great, and all, but 1/1 token creatures are so much more intimudating when they're the size of a baseball.

My token D-20 could be used to club someone in the head to death... easily. In case of emergency (or annoyance).

The new life counter cards are really a piece of work. I've found instances where they've broken on the first use or came completely broken inside of the box.
WotC needs to get it's shiznit together on this lame decision.
Oh, and I finally remembered that I"m part of this guild.

If they're going to make spindowns, however, they need to make dual sided ones so you can track your opponent's life total. a spin down life counter is a d20 with the numbers next to each other rather then opposit each other... d20s are stupid because if someone knocks the table they can roll, and its easy to cheat, double sided life counters are the best, the ones with bit numbers that click into plac eon each number, they are the side of a card and about as thick as a side board

They're worse than the original little ultra-pro life counters.
