Due to the recent patches, I got to raid all of Hyjal and half of Black Temple and experience these instances. It was awesome to be able to see this content before It becomes history.
What have the recent patches done for you? good or bad, go.

I'm within touching distance of level 70, with a high probability of reaching it before WotLK.

I got my KJ achievement in a tier 5 guild that was on Mother Shahraz prepatch

It made me explore all of Azeroth and Outland, and now I'm grinding for my Timbermaw and Wintersaber Trainers rep....while I could have been pugging kara instead

Made me enjoy tanking on my warrior and also let me see Karazhan. Lot of fun.

I no longer have 3am raid nights. And can sometimes find tanks as opposed to never.
I can now have all the pets I wanted. As opposed to limiting myself to 12.
Oh, I also got the joy of wiping endlessly on twin emps in AQ40 because everyone was morbidly retarded.

Much shorter raid nights which lead to me being able to take my druid with another raid to Illidan.
The ability to really start leveling my horde toon (which I admit is so neglected)....and....me staring down the crack points (which I admit are not as interesting as I first thought).
