After the incident with Mareike he somehow doubted he was going to just be released to go home. Though he now had visitors on occasion, his mother mainly who came to check up on him though the technicians never allowed her to stay for very long.
Plus they had to get him a new bubble since Mareike had trashed the last one. He was laying on his bed his eyes closed at the moment. He had heard the technicians come in, but unlike other days were they strode in wearings masks to stop the pheromones from effecting them he heard only sounds of a squeaking wheel and...was that chains? He pretended to be asleep, he didn't need to draw their attention, his arm was already littered with needle pricks as they were trying all sorts of things on him.
So far the IV just made him tired, though at least his forehead didn't ache nearly as much as it had in the last little while. As soon as he was sure the technicians had left the room he peeked an eye open and then sat up. Chii and fuu had been more groggy as of late...they continued to lay on the bed not stirring. Looking around the room he tried to figure out what was new.

The techs were quiet enough as they went about their work, seeming to be in a bit of a hurry as well... this wasn't a place they wanted to be for all that long but then again who would? Trapped in a small room with two creatures like the ones that they were keeping here... once their 'burden' was moved from the stretcher to the floor and the chains were attached to the wall they left quickly.
"Make sure to keep an eye on them." A voice informed the techs, the single working eyes of the fallen angel looked over the pair before he and the technicians were gone, door closing behind them.
Laying in a heap where he'd been left behind was a rather familiar face, one who seemed almost as out of it as Adriel... though the yellow eye in his forehead was darting back and forth rapidly seeming to be awake while the rest of Duncan wasn't. He looked the same on the outside as the last time Adriel had seen him, his skin was pale, his horns and then bone structures around his chest were missing... and he was quite still...
Something about him though would feel nostalgic, more like the Duncan that Adriel had first met long ago, back before he'd changed so much, back before he became so calm.

Adriel waited until he heard no sounds. Peeking an eye open he sat up slowly to notice the familar figure of a boy he hadn't seen in a long while. his face went a bit pink as he recalled their last meeting, he tried to not let it overwhelm him. Moving he slid from the bed to creep over...he then stopped as he felt the IV tugg at his arm. He winced. And then crept back to pull the IV stand with him. Not so sneaky the second time around he went to the very edge of his containment bubble and crouched to look over the still figure of Duncan.
Noticing the third eye still moving about rapidly, he offered it a small wave wondering if it would register him. Duncan looked the same, but...there was something different about him. Chii and Fuu dragged themselves off the floor as it was cold...they had been hanging limp as the IV contained enough drug to make them weak. They went to lay in Adriel's lap though could not perform much more effort than that.
He wondered why Duncan was here. He looked exhausted and ..like he had been in a fight.

The yellow eye stopped its fluttering about to stop and stare at Adriel who was waving... it narrowed a little as though it were trying to determine what sort of threat the other spawn presented. The information was filed away before the eye went to looking around once more...
Duncan gave a low groan as the image of Adriel went through his mind, a confusing image as he didn't remember seeing him like that before... his other two eyes opened slowly, looking a little bleary as they did so. Where... where... he shifted to try to get a little more comfortable where he was sitting and there was a jingling of metal that sounded far to loud in the mostly empty room.
The half wrath child froze in place and slowly turned to looking down at the chains... and instantly the part of his mind that was really against being 'whole' again reacted... he was on his feet in an instantly stumbling along forward until he hit the end of the chains and started to snarl and fight against them... not only was he whole again he was chained up in some unknown room in a place he had never seen before.
His guilt and drug addled mind didn't seem to comprehend anything at the moment but fighting and obtaining freedom...

Adriel fell backwards in surprise as Duncan suddenly awoke and was up and snarling. The chains must of been uncomfortable, even the sounds of it muffled by the plastic made him wince. Even his tentacles couldn't react fast enough to stop his fall...they half attempted before slumping at his sides.
He stared wide eye'd at Duncan's form as it attempted to free himself of his ..chains. moving he went to kneel on his knees before moving to the edge of his bubble again.
"Du..duncan..." He murmured he hated seeing his friend like this...it seemed like all his rage was back again...he wasn't sure why it had gone and why it was back. "Duncan!" he called out again as he didn't want him to get hurt doing what he was doing.

Duncan seemed oblivious for to Adriel's presence, fighting against his chains until he exhausted himself... it didn't take to long for him to collapse back down to the cold tiled ground. He lifted his hands up to rub his hands against his eyes that felt a bit sore... as though he had a headache building behind them.
It took him some time to realize he wasn't alone in the room and even long to focus on the one who was sitting there in front of him in a plastic bubble. He tilted his head to the side as though he didn't believe what he was seeing, "Adriel?" What was he doing here... better question where was here? Why was he here? He couldn't remember anything after the fight in the alley but blurry half memories mixed in with the new memories he'd obtained when he merged with his other half again.
"Where...?" He murmured, looking around. His heart started to thud in his chest, why was he chained up...? He looked down at his wrist, at the shackle there and lifted it up to try to chew on the metallic accessory.

Adriel pressed a hand against the bubble making a mewling sound, he didnt like seeing Duncan like this. He seemed confused, perhaps just as confused as he was when he first awoke here not knowing what had happened.
"Duncan...do don't..you'll hurt your teeth.." He managed to get out as he shifted around a bit. The tentacles as if sensing Duncan made half a** attempts to press against the bubble as well..but they quickly fell back down to the ground tiredly.
Adriel sighed wishing for once his tentacles were more useful. "Du..Duncan...why are you here? Did you dad bring you back?" he inquired softly.

Duncan trio of eyes went rather wide at that, "Back?" He asked, releasing his wrist from his gnawing as it didn't seem to be doing any good... in fact it just caused his teeth to ache a bit and his hand and wrist on either side of the shackle to get the brunt of the chewing, "Back... where?"
He found himself looking around again and he shook his head, "No..." He was back at the Labs? His father had brought him back...? He must have found out about all of the bad things that he'd done and decided that Duncan wasn't a good enough son, that he wanted a better behaved child... one whose hands were stained with blood, "Why... I don't want to be here..." He muttered, tugging against the chains. He'd done what he was told to do by Vampy so that he wouldn't end up stuck here belonging to that man so how did it come to pass anyway? Had he been tricked?
He shook his head rapidly to try to clear the red that was rising behind his eyes. No... he couldn't let his mind go hazy if he wanted to get out of here... he looked over at his friend and the gears in his mind started to turn, "Wait... Adriel...? Why are you here?" It made sense that he was here, he was bad... but Adriel... and why was he inside a plastic cage?

Adriel blushed slightly as he then fidgeted with his fingers and hands as the question was drawn to him. Ah how to explain...
"Uh...I..had....an 'procedure'." He murmured in reply reaching a hand up to his forehead to move his bangs to show off the slits that were now there and open.
"Mr...Vampy said that..I can't come out until they figure out how to ...hamper..the effects of the pheromones. " He continued not sure what the older man had meant by that.
"I have to stay until they say I can go." He murmured again shuffling closer to the side of the plastic bubble to look at Duncan more closely.
"...A..are you okay?" He asked looking at the chains wondering why they were placed on him.

Duncan felt his hackles raise at the mention of Mr Vampy, head turning from one side to the other as though he expected the man to appear out of thin air, "Shouldn't... be here." He muttered, "I did what I was told..."
He shook his hands, not liking the weight of the chains and shackles on him, not liking that he was being kept like a dog now... he turned to look over at Adriel and forced himself to become as calm as was possible, "I am... well enough, considering." He murmured, not liking the space that was between him and his friend, liking less the plastic wall between them.
"Are you... alright though? Unhurt?" He didn't trust anyone in this place, less now then ever before.

Adriel hesitated a moment and the nodded his head curtly. "I..g..guess so. I..don't like being in here...everything looks and sounds funny....I don't want to be alone." He murmured pressing his hand back up into the plastic. He recalled how easily Mareike's claws had gone through the material. He looked to Duncan again wondering if he could do the same.
"I..I ...wish i could help you...I know my tentacles are strong...but....they.." He looked to them they both looking very drugged at the moment. "The..Iv is making them act weird." He continued looking to the ground.
"...Do..you think you can get me out?" He asked looking a bit desperate.

Duncan gave a little nod as he pushed himself up to his feet and started forward toward the bubble that was holding Adriel, "I can try." He said, giving a little smile as he looked at the plastic. It looked weak enough that he was sure he could break through it.
He lifted one clawed hand, reaching out toward the bubble... then started to jerk his arm forward when he hit the end of his chains just out of reach of his friend's plastic prison. He gave a growling sound digging the claws of his feet into the ground in an attempt to push forward, closer to where Adriel was despite the way the shackles dug into his skin.
"Just a... little more..." He murmured, mostly to himself as he pushed, pulled, struggled, and strained against the chains.

Adriel brought a hand up to his mouth chewing on a finger as he watched. Duncan was trying really hard...but he was getting hurt!
"Ah no don't hurt yourself! I am sure I ...can do something.." He murmured as he looked around and then down to his arm which attached was the IV drip.
Grasping the tube he then closed his eyes and dragged it out of his arm. The needle slid out and he gave a bit of cry in pain. It hurt...more so than the first time he did it with Mareike. Perhaps he could use the needle?
Taking it in hand he lifted it to then try a stab at the wall. It poked through....but only caused a little hole. He wasn't strong enough to do it himself...his arm ached now...but he hoped his tentacles would wake up.

Duncan shook his head, "No, I can... just need a little more room is all..." He struggled for a moment longer before he finally gave up and was forced to take a step back. He watched as Adriel attempted to free himself, wincing at the sound of pain his friend let out... his yellow eye narrowed slightly at the sound and for a moment Duncan's other eyes squeezed shut... the sound of pain caused an echo of unwanted images to come to mind, memories belonging to his darker self from when it was running free.
When he was able to free himself from the unwanted thoughts he opened his eyes again, feeling slightly groggy once more... but gave Adriel a little smile none the less.
"Think you can push against the plastic? Get it to where I can reach?" He asked when he was able to come up with a coherent thought and plan of action again.

The effect of the drug on the tentacles was already wearing off. The limbs rose up and then like little burrowers pushed the needle aside and went about making the tiny hole bigger. It was slow going but soon they had managed to make a hole big enough for them both to get through. A bit disturbing..two purple limbs waving madly from a hole...
Adriel took this moment to wedge his finger in and try and pull the plastic further apart. it was strong....stronger than his poor fingers and cut into his skin a bit. But soon Chii and Fuu were helping make it larger, he nearly smiled past the pain, the smell of blood reached his nostrils.
"Al..most..there.." He mentioned.
