"There's no point to this," Litural stated bluntly as Santana finished tying the laces of his skates.

"Maybe the point is to just have fun?" Santana offered, standing up to look down at the boy with a hopeful smile.

The boy didn't seem impressed. He looked down at the clunky skates, third eye narrowed distastefully. Fun? Fun was chasing their neighbor Tracy back up the steps to her apartment. How was this going to be fun?

"Come on, take a walk around. Get your balance before we head out on the ice."

You couldn't blame Santana for trying. He wanted to get Lit out, yes...and since the boy's growth spurt, it seemed the man was having an easier time keeping the boy under control.

Litural wrinkled his nose...and stood, arms and wings spreading out to catch his balance. He glanced up at his guardian with a glare. Oh yeah...this was going to be a lot of fun.

Already out on the ice Mareike was clinging desperately to the walls. She refused to let Nickle help her learn to skate but also refused to slide on her butt all the way around the rink. If she could just pull herself along by the sideboards everything would be fine. She'd be skating like a pro in no time if everyone just left her the hell alone

Nickle skated slow laps around the rink keeping an eye on his daughter. She'd been out of sorts lately after her little visit to the facility. He thought perhaps keeping her busy by learning something new would help. So far it didn't look like his plan was going over too well.

Santana stepped out onto the rink first, pulling up the zipper on his jacket as he slid effortlessly across the ice. He turned himself around with ease, watching as Litural stood at the door and glared.

"It's gonna be cold out here, Lit, you might wanna zip up the hoodie," Santana encouraged as he skated back, stopping short in front of the door. "Come on, take my hand and we'll get you out on the ice," and the mentioned palm was offered out the the boy.

It was slow going, and he nearly fell twice (which lead to some unhappy growls and mutterings about stupid skating from Litural), but eventually the boy was in the rink. Though his legs were wobbly, his wings helped him balance and he managed to slide himself a few feet; one hand held the wall, the other held onto his guardian with a death grip.

"There you go, buddy. Just take it easy, one foot at a time. You're lucky, you've got wings to keep you steady, haha. Me? I fell on my a** all the time trying to learn how to skate." The words were encouraging, warm. Litural glanced up at the man, skeptical, before looking ahead of him.

"There's someone in the way," he stated, not daring to let go of the side in order to point.

Santana looked up as well, and shrugged. "That's ok. We can just go around. I've got you, I'm not gonna let you fall."

Mareike could hear viced behind her but the minute she took her focus off of moving forward and turned her head to see what was going on she lost her balance and her grip on the sideboards " no-aahhhooo" The girl squealed in an undignified manner as her legs buckled beneath her and she slid to the surface of the the rink. Having turned in the process she could now at least see the object of her curiosity.

" You made me fall" she growled and glared at the stranger.

Nickle skated closer but didn't interfere just yet. Mareike could usually navigate her own battles and besides nothing too bad was happening just yet. That and he doubted his daughter wanted to see him struggling not to laugh just a little at the sight of her all angry and huffy and not at all intimidating while piled on the floor.

Litural's main eyes narrowed as he was growled at, though that odd eye out in the middle of his forehead seemed to squint in a happy way after the girl took a tumble. Like it had enjoyed the fact that she fell down.

"Did not," he growled back, pausing in his movements. His steady hand dug deep into the wall, and he could feel his nails scratching at the surface of the paint. His wings were fluffed, annoyance apparent to anyone who might be watching the two.

Like Santana. His white furred ears laid back into his head as he skated up beside Lit, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Easy, Lit...we probably startled her," he explained, trying to keep the peace. He really didn't want another fight to break out. "Are you ok?" The albino man asked the young lady, not yet daring to skate over to her. "Would you like some help getting back up?"

Mareike bared her fangs and manged to get herself into a defensive crouch wings spread out to hold the girl keep her balance. Her three eyes locked onto the boy's. " Apologize now," there was no room in her mind for the boy's gentle guardian. There was only her and this boy, kin in a way for she was certain they came from the same place. Still he'd made her fall and he would apologize or else.

With a sigh Nickle skated closer, his daughter had gone from adorable huffy to likely to slice the other kid open with her skates." Mareike relax I'm sure it was an accident." He hadn't even seen what had happen just that one moment she'd been fine and when he looked back at her yell she'd been on the ice.

Lit's lips curled with a snarl, the four of his wings flairing out behind him in what he thought was a much more impressive display than the girl's. He also crouched, knees bent slightly with one arm poised in a cupped hand, ready to lash out with claws...while the other held fast to the side. This ice thing, it could be his undoing. But after watching how "graceful" the girl was on her own feet, he felt confident it hindered her just as much - if not more - than it hindered him.

"Make me!" he challenged, eyes glaring to match the threatening manner of his entire form. He wouldn't back down...not after being barked at by a girl!

Santana watched the other girl and suddenly felt desperate. She wasn't looking at him, but through him to Litural. And that...that was dangerous. He'd seen that look on the boy before, and perhaps saw the connection between them just as she was feeling the same thing.

"Lit, back down," Santana said with command in his voice. His hand clenched tightly on the child's shoulder, pushing him back slightly.

Litural growled low in his chest as he was moved, his third eye not daring to shift from the girl while the normal set glanced up at his guardian. He didn't want to back down...he wanted to fight!

Mareike had no choice but to rise to the challenge. The girls lunged at the other wrath child with every intent of taking him to the ice and pummeling him till he surrendered.

Nickle watched in frustration as his daughter leapt at the boy. Sticking is hand between them was bad idea.

It happened faster than Santana could think.

With a roar that shook the glass of the rink, Litural launched forward as well. They hit each other like sacks of bricks, or maybe potatoes, and went to the ice floor. Lit was snarling, his teeth clicking together sharply against anything he could reach while his clawed hands lashed out in sporadic attacks.

Santana took the brief moment to look around for help. The other child's guardian, perhaps? But upon spotting the other and seeing the frustrated stare, he assumed there would be no help from this one right now.

"Enough! Get off of each other, both of you!" he barked, much like a drill sergeant.

He wasn't afraid of being hurt himself; Santana had tussled with Litural before and had broken up enough fights in his days as a bouncer to not care. He'd try to reach into the fray, making grabs for shirt collars or arms. Anything - anything - to try and pull them apart before they drew blood, or worse...killed each other.

The collision had shaken Mareike for a second but the challenge was far from over and her combined traits meant she wasn't giving up until she won.
hands balls into fists Mareike struck at the boy and the ice and anything in reach really. The inability to ge to back to here feet hindered the girl but not much since the battle seemed to staged down on the ice anyways.

" Shut up" She snarled not bothering to look at the man who was yelling at her. " He has to apologize" this man held no authority over her and she wouldn't listen to him. Though if he got close enough and tried to stop the fight he too was target.

Nickled tried to skate up behind his daughter." If he could just drag her awa-" damnit' The girl's third eye caught him in it's peripheral vision and a skated foot kicked out at him. This was not a fight to be interrupted. The boy would surrender.

Santana was taken aback by the girl's behavior and the lack of control that the guardian had on her. But he recovered quickly...after all, that was his kid that was being attacked.

"You need to get better hold on your charge!" Santana snapped at the other adult, eyes flashing.

So much Wrath in the area...it was infectious. And Litural had a talent for making others see red. Just like he was now. He was lost, and it showed; his actions almost feral in nature, no real pattern to them other then to hurt. And this lack of direction was what would be his undoing...he had no focus in where he was aiming. She was indeed pummeling him.

A crowd was gathering. Guards were skating over. If someone didn't do something soon, many more than just these four would be way too involved for their own good.

Santana reacted the only other way he knew how. There was a shift in his appearance, becoming more feral and animal like...but it was a fluid motion, as easy as water flowing down a riverbed. Quickly, he was no longer more human than animal...a tower of white fur and pink skin, a snout that snarled just as angrily as the fighting children.

How he hated this form.

His target wasn't the girl. He just wanted to get Lit out of this mess. He grabbed the boy by his shoulder and yanked with the might bestowed upon him by his species. Werewolf if you want...he'd never associate himself with those beasts.

Nickle was bothered by the other guardian's outburst. He didn't like the fighting and he wanted it to stop but no way in hell could he make Mareike do anything right now , nor could he get near the girl without risking serious injury to himself which would do no one any good. There were time when Nickle could control or redirect Mareike's rage but this was not one of them.

The threat removed Mareike paused and watched the white furred creature. It had interrupted the fight but it had also forced the boy to submit. the diligent side of Mareike warred within itself. one part demanding full satisfaction, the other pointing out that to attack the boy now was to instigate another fight when she'd already won if by default.

Calming quickly she pulled herself into a sitting position and watched the white furred man wearily." It's over?' She wanted to be sure there would be no counter attack. Mentally she took note that the boy had ruined some of her feathers and even she could feel some bruising beginning.

"You're damn right, it's over," Santana said wearily, more to himself than as an answer to the child. Just as easily as he transformed, he was back to his old self. Ears and tail, nothing else to hint as to what he was on a bad day. Like today.

Litural stood, his face already starting to swell on the one side and two of his three eyes would be black come the morning. He could taste blood in his mouth, and when he suddenly spat there was blood on the ice. Amazingly, it was the only blood to be drawn. And he hated it. She'd won. A girl...a girl! She'd beaten him and suddenly he hated her more now than he ever had hated someone before...but was so tired, he could barely stand, let alone be angry.

"You," Santana said sternly, glancing down at Lit...and upon seeing him, softened. Sighed. "Come on, Lit...let's get you cleaned up. He's fine." The last bit was directed quite suddenly at the guard who was coming up to them.

Litural didn't protest as he was guided away. His pride was bruised, and that hurt more than his whole body.

Santana paused a moment, glancing at the other parent and the girl. He looked as worn as Litural, his eyes tired and a definite weariness all about him.

"I'm sorry I snapped at you. I'm sorry about all of this. I swear, we didn't mean any harm...and I hope she's ok." His words were honest and sincere.

Nickle nodded at the other man and gave a sigh of his own. " We're leaving too and I'm sorry for Mareike's overreaction." When they got home he'd be having some words with his daughter. " Mareike's fine , I apologize for your son getting the worse end of things." Nickle had a feeling most kids who fought his daughter were going to get the worse end. He loved her dearly but thought that perhaps the people who'd created her had chosen a particularly bad combination.

As Nickle dragged her away in the opposite direction Mareike just stared at the ice and the blood on it before turning to follow obediently.
