And my sister is upset. She went on about how she doesn't want the mark of the beast on her, because she'll need it if she wants to eat, shop, etc...
soon...
My sister started Christian school this year. She told me she wouldn't buy into the bullshit... But she did.
Tonight, when Obama won, I didn't celebrate. I cried.
I can't do anything about it, either. It's not my place to try changing her mind. But it hurts. ):

I asked her. She said "He fits the description of him! Good speaker, in a position of power... uh... See, he is! Amber, I don't want to have the mark on the beast on me! I'll need it if I want food, to go anywhere, if I want to have clothes... I won't go to heaven! I'm not saved, and neither is half the world!"
She really couldn't say anything more... I don't know what to do about this. She's one of those moronic Christians that believes just because fear is put in their hearts, and doesn't really know what they're talking about... She used to be a free thinker. ):
I suppose they just read the bible to her, and went in at intervals to explain what they think what means...

I am athiest but I would like to point out that the 7 years of the anti-christs rule will only begin once god supposedly brings up all current christians into heaven. So, theoretically as long as she accepts Jesus as her savior, she won't need to worry about s**t.

Yeah, myself I am agnostic. I'm a huge Obama supporter. For the longest time, my sister was alright. Just the school she goes to now... is ridiculous, and she is impressionable. This really does have me worried, and I had a talk with my family. The fam's Christian, but even they are bothered by this...
Apparently, there have been other parents/what-have-yous complaining about this. Someone at her school is deviating from the rules, and filling the kids heads with this, and there have been many complaints already.
I'll show her the article or talk to her about it, because... she really is distressed.
@Panic; The thing is, when people like this "believe," usually, they don't really believe. Like a kid believing in Santa. They have no reason to, they don't care about him, but they defend that he's real. Their mommy tells them he's real, therefore he is.
She mentioned that. She said she'd be one of the many that won't ascend to heaven...
*sigh*
We're having a family meeting later this week.
This is bollocks.
