For the first time since she left Seven of Seven, Adhara was leaving the house with someone who wasn't Noah. Instead, she was leaving with the friend who had been making her dresses since she'd first gone home with Noah. The woman was bizarre-looking, however, even by Adhi's standards, all orange and black and grey. But, that wasn't the point. The point was that they were supposedly going someplace new, which meant two things: One, that Adhara got to meet new people, and two, it meant a new dress from Guinevere, which was always a plus.
This one, though, was much different from the ones that she'd gotten beforehand, with the flowers on them. This one was a deep purple, even darker than her own hair, which they'd pulled into a high ponytail for today. It had crazy swirls and spirals on it in various neon colours, and they were also gone-over with in glow-in-the-dark paint. Really, that must mean that they were going somewhere exciting, so of course, Adhara was more hyped up than she usually was.
"Are we there yet?" Adhi asked for what was probably the fifteenth time in the past ten minutes. This time, Guinevere only chuckled. Briefly, she'd debated trying to convince the spawn to play the silent game, but that was more Noah's style; trying to get the kids to shut up, rather than trying to do something that worked well, like making them talk about something else.
"Adhara, have you ever played 'I Spy'?" The little girl glanced at her in a way that very obviously stated 'what?'. Ginny laughed softly. "Okay, what you do, is you start out by saying 'I spy with my little eye, something...' and then you say a word that describes something that you see. I'll start. I spy with my little eye, something... red."
Amber eyes blinked a moment, curiously, at Guinevere, before looking around at the other people on the bus. Finally, she grinned and pointed to a man with a red-striped hat. "That man's hat!" she exclaimed gleefully, and Ginny smiled at her.
"Right! Now, your turn."
"I spy with my little eye..."
This game lasted the rest of the bus ride until they reached the small indoor amusement center, or whatever they wanted to claim it was. Though Adhara's attention was immediately seized by everything around her, Guinevere led the girl upstairs, and into a room that was completely black, if it weren't for the blacklights on the ceiling and walls. The ground, walls, ceiling, everything was painted black, and in the light, Adhi's wings and the swirls on her dress glowed bright purple. There was also white tape along the edges of each bit of the small course, all of white glowed brightly.
Happily, she fluttered around, before turning to Ginny with a smile. "What're we here for?"
"We're here to play a game or two of glow-in-the-dark miniature golf."

Mara tugged impatiently at Naomi's sleeve. She was too short to see over the counter where her guardian was exchanging money and recieving brightly colored golf-balls and clubs. "Huuuurrry, Mi!" Mara whined, bouncing from one foot to another and twitching her ear-wings irritably.
Finally... Finally! She was awarded with a golf club. Immediately upon reciept of the item she began hitting things.
"No, Mara." Naomi said patiently. "It's just for hitting balls with. Come on now, I'll show you how to play."
Mara much preferred to smack everything in sight with the golf club, but she was also curious about this "mini-golf" thing. Also, it was rare that Naomi took her out all by herself. But her sister was at school (well she was supposed to be. Mara had found out Kaimi skipped almost all the time, but she hadn't told.) So obediently, for once in her life, she thrust her little hand into Naomi's and followed the woman to the golf-course portion of the park.

Kamira ran ahead of Jess the second she got out of the little red sportscar, followed by an exasperated 'Hey!' from her guardian. She caught up with her little galloping spawn soon, and lifted her up.
"What's the idea, running off on me like that?" Jess asked with a laugh. "We're going in now, so until we get the...whatever it is and get onto the course, don't go running off, alright?"
"Alright, Momma. But come on, come on! I wanna see~~~~~!"
"Okay, in we go!"

The feathers on the edges of Adhara's wings spread out almost anxiously when she heard the noises of things getting hit from behind them. With a brief flutter of her wings, she turned about, and her eyes widened when she caught sight of both of the other spawn that had appeared at the entrance to the course. At the moment, Guinevere had been trying to get Adhi to pay enough attention to one thing to just hit the ball down the course, but she didn't seem all that interested in doing so, as the course itself was much more interesting. Until the other two had caught her attention, she'd been trying to see inside one of the holes at the end of the first part of the course.
However, with the new appearance of the other two, she jumped up excitedly, and trotted toward the two of them, one of whom was smaller than her, and the other who appeared to be her same age, and had strangely fuzzy-looking wings. She smiled brightly and folded her wings up against her back. "Hi!!" she exclaimed happily, glad to be meeting more kids that were like her once more, as though she believed that it would stop happening after she got bigger.

Mara's eyes widened at all the glow in the dark excitement and she twitched a bit from foot to foot. This place was really neat! Idly smacking a passing plastic statue, she grinned.
They were just determining where the course started when a cheery "Hi!" distracted Mara. Naomi tensed, getting ready to grab her spawn should she decide to attack. But Mara, blessedly, seemed to be too distracted by all the glowing goodness and she merely grinned wider at the approaching girl.
"Hi b***h!" She said cheerily. And then, noticing that she wasn't the only one being greeted, waved at Kamira as well. Naomi cringed. She'd tried to explain that 'b***h' was not a word you used. But Mara seemed to think it a very clever way of greeting people.

Jess raised an eyebrow at the word Mara used to say hi. That was something rather unexpected, but hey, surely that wouldn't rub off on Kamira...?
Kamira bounced over to the other two girls, smiling widely. Her ear-wing flapped a little bit and she swished her tail, eager to get on with the game of golf.
"Hiya~!"

Guinevere looked rather taken aback by the smaller girl's greeting, blinking abruptly in a very confused manner, before glancing skeptically at the person who was taking care of her. Were they completely sure they wanted to take care of a child like that...? Adhara merely giggled behind her hands, knowing that 'b***h' wasn't a word that meant anything nice, but also knowing that since this girl was small, she wouldn't really understand that yet, which made it more cute than it was insulting, though she might think otherwise after socializing with her a bit more.
"Hi there," she said again, one of her tentacles reaching out hesitantly to pet one of Mara's headwings curiously. "Y've got wing-ears like 'Zuba's. They're really pretty, too," she said happily, that same tentacle pulling the girl close even as Adhara's attention was drawn to the other child. She tried to ignore the tentacle that was busy stroking Mara's hair, having never met a wrath child such as her before, as Mareike had been at the very least decent to her. She gasped when she caught sight of the other child, and reached out one of her hands to stroke at one of the furry wings, giggling happily at it's soft feel.
"They're so pretty!!" she exclaimed, before feeling Ginny's rather exasperated gaze settling on her. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot. My name's Adhara, but you can call me Adhi. What about you two?"
