Saryichu wanders by herself across a large field, taking time to think to herself. She did not have anybody to confide in...not that others got very close to her though. Padding along the cool grass her mind wanders. Trust was never her strong point because of her past, but she always wanted somebody to talk to. It was a cycle that never seemed to end. As she approuched a little river the sun set behind mountains off in the distance. This had always been her favorite time of day, the heat lessoned and a sort of quiet peace dfrifting through the air. She dips her head down to get a drink.

"So, you seek someone to cleanse your mind?" A strong voice filled her mind. Standing before her across from the river, dark caring eyes stared toward the lioness. With a gentle purr, she lowered her head nonchalantly, lapping up the cool running waters that almost matched her coat.

With a start, Saryichu looked up, spotting the new lioness across from her. A gasp caught in her throat. A lunar lioness? She was certainly a majestic lioness. She remembered then that she had been asked a question. "I..I do I think...my mind is so cluttered...my mate...my cubs...my life..." She shook her head sadly before sitting down, head hung low.

Dreamscape simply continued to drink water as if she were uninterested in the female's plight, but her voice rang softly in the young one's head. "Tell me, dear child, what is your aching? Your mate and children love you do they not? Your life is not as bad as it can be, is it? You must think positive. First, meditate to clear your mind. Find inner peace within yourself. Do not fight the stream, go with it."

Saryichu watched as the other lioness did not move, not even to look at her. Was she speaking into her mind? It was certainly possible. "I fear he may leave me...like my father left my mother..." She dipped her paw into the water gently, swirling it around. Her ears lowered as she remembered that horrible night she'd had to choose one of her parents to stay with. She had not of course, so she was forced to live with a relative far from her home.

Flicking her tail, the female lifted up her head looking over to the other lioness. "You parents choose their own path. That does not mean that you and your mate will follow that path. You must trust in your love with this male. If things do not work out, then it is the will of the Fates." This time, her mouth did move. "As long as you have your faith, and love for your children, you're fine. This may not be the best advice, child, but this is all I have to offer you, my dear."

For a while, she sat there thinking on what the other lioness had told her. She was right. The past wouldn't repeat itself just because she feared it. But if she did not let it go she would continue to feel miserable. With a soft smile she looked at the lunar lioness. "Thank you. It helped to talk with you..."

"You're quite welcome, Saryichu." The lunar lioness gave a gentle purr settling down near to the water's edge. Her tail flicked idly before settling down near to her left flank. She then began to hum gently, letting the notes gently flow through the invisible winds, her eyes closing falling to the tune of the song.

Saryichu could not help but smile as she watched the Lunar lioness. She had never felt this calm before in her entire life. As the other lioness hummed, she layed down and listened, slowly falling asleep.
