Kieran knew better, he shouldn't have eaten those strange berries, but they had been so alluring. Now they might be the last thing he would ever get to eat, he staggered along heading to his favorite spot near the river. His vision blurred and his normally strong legs trembled beneath him.
"I...hope..." He drew a shaky breath and sank down on the bank and dropped his nose into the cold water. He tried to control his muscles and keep himself from drowning, all he wanted was a drink after all.
I just hope this doesn't hurt He closed his eyes, his head bobbing in the water.

Everything seemed like one big blur. With the sun streaming through the trees, the cool water washing against her as she slowly glided along the river. It was just one of those days where reality seemed like a dream and your imagination seemed so real. She probably should have been resting somewhere but her sense of adventure drew her here.
A voice brought her ears to attention and she made her way to the sound. I wonder.. what it is...
Melanie shook her head to clear it of the images that seemed to stride through her vision until her gaze spotted a dark figure sprawled over the edge. From the looks of it, his muzzle was submerged. Was it alright? Mentally shrugging she trotted through the water to the unknown horse. "What are you doing there?"

Kieran tried to open his eyes, he gave a snort as he felt the water start to go up his nose. He jerked his head a bit before it dropped back into the water, he could barely manage to lift his head. He gulped some water and slowly opened his eyes rolling his head along to the bank.
His eyes rolled up as Melanie swam into his vision a blurry figure "An...angel?" He tried to keep his eyes open and keep himself from drowning. He struggled to get himself back onto his feet slipping a bit into the water.

As the horse moved she noticed that it wasn't just any horse, but a male. But still, what was he doing here, with his muzzle in the water, clearly disoriented? Did he notice he could drowned like this? Stupid Stallion.
An angel? Yeah he's delusional. "Far from it. But, what are you trying to do?" Mel watched the stallion closely as he moved to stand, and failed by falling partway into the river. "Are you alright? You seem.. off" She moved a bit closer just in case he slipped again, she could help prop him up with her body.

"Ate..." He struggled onto shakey legs and wobbled as he dragged himself a few inches away from the riverbank. The cool water helped a little but his vision was still fuzzy. He tried to make out the shape of the other, female certainly, but if she wasn't an angel then what was she? He squinted trying to catch her form without it wavering too much.
His eyes caught her blue ones and he licked his lips, he felt so hot, fire licked at his throat and twisted his stomach. He stumbled closer to her trying to bury his muzzle against her neck, she looked cool her eyes a blue that reminded him of ice in the deep winter.
"Ate something bad...s'gonna...kill me..." He hoped it wouldn't but if he dropped dead in front of this female she should at least know why.

She inched her head a little closer to the males, her ear coming extremely close to his muzzle as she struggled to catch his words. He really looked bad and she had no idea how or what to do to help him. If he was really there. And then his muzzle full on her neck and she knew he couldn't just be another illusion from her exhaustion. He was really there, and really hurting.
When he spoke his voice soothed her in a way nothing had in so long. Whether it be the spell they were both under or that they his presence really was relaxing, she wouldn't know, yet. He ate something bad, huh? Whatever he ate would probably pass, but the way he spoke of it, of dieing. What on earth did he eat?
Uncharacteristically she tilted her head slightly and gave him more room to rest his head "I'm sure you'll be fine afterward. Don't talk like that."

"Hope so..." He muttered against her neck and moved himself to try and press against her, she felt so cool compared to him. Raging fever, a fire raced across his skin and made him hot to the touch. He closed his eyes and sighed softly his mane slipping across his neck and against hers in multicolored strips.
"Would...be a shame, you know? To die infront of you." He tried to offer her a smile but his lips seemed to refuse to cooperate with him. His legs buckled under him and he hoped he wasn't about to drag this pretty angel down with him if he passed out.

Melanie kept her footing braced on the firm rocks under her hooves and held his weight more as he sank against her. His forehead felt so hot against his neck. Did he have a fever? She hoped not. But if he did the cool water would probably be best for him to try and break it. "Umm, you probably should get in here with me. Your head feels to hot." she said softly, not wanting to raise her voice in case he had a headache or something.
She gave the male a couple minutes to get a little more sterdy on his feet, then pulled back to give him room to join her in the cool river, at the same time being there incase he fell so she could help him back up.
For all this physical contact she still didn't know anything about this dreamy stallion not even his name. How strange of her. "My name is Melanie by the way."

"Me..Melaine...Melanie, Melanie, thats pretty." He struggled to steady himself and dipped his head into the icy water to gulp some down. He gave a soft gasp and looked up at her his pupils wide.
"Forgive my rudeness...I'm..." He hesitated a moment as if trying to recall his own name before looking back at her his eyes a bit more focused. "I'm Keiran, and I'm very thankful...your here..."
He pulled himself a bit away from the water and took a few deep breaths before looking back at her trying to keep her in focus, but it was very hard to do.
