Whats your favorate soundtrack from a game excluding licenced tracks
Mine are
1 - Doom
2 - Metal gear solid series
3 - Pratcially most of the Commodore 64 games (Bring back the sid chip!)
4 - Metroid Series
5 - Duke Nukem

Final fantasy X & VII
and
Chrono Cross...
I am not much for game soundtracks, but those two are ones I like listening to... they are peacefull...

Final Fantasy has a good soundtrack along with Kingdom Hearts. Spyro the Dragon (The first three for the playstaion) also had good music.

My opinion for good game soundtracks are Persona and Shin Megami Tensei series along with some from the Tales of series such as Vesperia, Abyss, Symphonia, and Legendia. Theres also Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. I also agree with the first three Spyro games.

My personal favourite is the boss fight with the Hind, so glad they released it for the MGS4 iPod. My fave soundtracks though are probably these, in no order; Dynasty Warriors series Final Fantasy series Fire Emblem series Rival Schools: Evolution Among others.

Chrono Cross has such soothing music.... I love the violin, and they use it in alot of them...

The Legend of Zelda music was very good also.....and Super Mario Sunshine and Galaxy.

Guitar Hero: Metallica is actualy something I'm hoping to get, but I'm not sure... College is coming up soon... and alot of growing up....so, ... I don't know... rofl
