So. I forgot some movies that I needed to return to Blockbuster, and they charged me $81.59. It was all fine and dandy because I got them back within the sales date, so I got that money returned. Supposedly.
I check my account today, and yes, I have three credits from them, bringing my account back up to $995.
The next thing above that...
A charge for $81.59 from Blockbuster. Which brought my account down to $913.
I called them up, a little grumpy and tried to ask just what was going on. I got the run around. I than just started saying "yes ma'am, no ma'am, thank you ma'am" and hung up as fast as I could.
I than called my bank. They transferred me to the Fraud Department.
Understandably, my eyes were "0_0", 'cause at this point I just wanted to believe the screw-up was on the bank's end somehow. And now, the charge is being disputed and as soon as I can get home, I'm going to the store I originally signed up at and canceling my membership with Blockbuster.
What a lovely day it's been.
