The shadows didn't move, but something was moving among them as one of them. The ivory and ebony tall lean brute moved with little noise through the forest. All six pups were with Fie, but Adolfo was looking for anything that would keep the Reign of Terror off their tails when they eventually moved from the danger zone.
The sharp emerald eyes were just as dull as the stone that dangled from his neck. There was an uproar of voices suddenly in his ears from the dark shadows, the Shadow Master didn't stop as he moved into the clear border of RoT, after all the alpha had said they could pass with ease. So he was checking out the border, just incase they needed to move through the territory.
Upon the entrance of the territory, Adolfo thinned the shadows out, to were he would appear just like any other wolf in their clutches. He hadn't told the Alpha of this pack of his gift, and he wasn't going to if he could avoid it.

Moghedien stalked the territory's boarder moving with her usual grace. She had only encountered the alpha male and the young pup Feros from the pack so far though now she knew of all of them from her and Damon's roaming the packlands. Her goal now was to mentally map out the packs territory's, which she had near completed and was finishing by walking the boundaries. Keeping to the shadows where possible, so long had they provided her with security, she slicked across the land. Slowing her pace she noted another's scent on the breeze, opening her icy bye eyes wider to emit more light she looked deep into the shadows, when suddenly they started to thin and emit a tall, lean male of black and white the markings giving rise to the idea that the shadows were engulfing him. He was not of the pack, this much she was sure of, her curiosity was peaked but as always she weighted and calculated before charging in. Moghedien was a tiny, petite wolf; her size and beauty belying her cruel nature and this often played to her favour. She walked forward from the shadows, though not leaving the totally. She fixed her icy stare to the emerald eyes of the stranger, having to raise her head to met them, but she was use to that. Now she knew not many wolves would cross these boundaries without good reason and any who chose to do so allow was to be tackled with caution but if the male was aggressive she need not fear as she knew Damon was watching off to her right, his scent very faint and distant but it was enough to reassure her. She sauntered forwards still fixed to those emerald eyes, for such a small wolf to be so confident towards another half again larger than herself required a bit of accessing. She addressed the male in a voice that held no warmth, 'Tell me stranger, what brings you to such a place.'

Two heartbeats near by, was the information passed on by the shadows. One, male, hanging further back while another, female, moved closer with high confidence. Adolfo had gone from hearing the minor unintellegible mummbling of the shadows as a pup to a fully mature master to them in his adult season. He held them close, sometimes closer then Fie. Vianna. Or even his pups. They couldn't replace any of the ones that held his large heart in their paws, but he could protect them with the shadows at all cost.
Adolfo knew where the female was as she moved closer towards him. He would say she was a very pretty female, but not one that he, nor the shadows, would have chosen to harbor any of his heart. It was already too crowded as is and so; this male would just be looking at her as if she could have been a sister to Twist. Only thing logical to think of if she was associated with the Reign of Terror.
The icy glared that locked upon his own silently calculating and observing look didn't give him a shudder. If nothing else, it allowed the shadows she passed through to open up to their master even more. Tales of the young Feros were told to him along with the...Goblin King, the alpha of these lands.
Adolfo didn't step back as the other sauntered towards him, some shadows hissed while others just laughed dryly. His ears didn't flicker but stayed focused upon this silvery female. Her confidence was amirable, if it wasn't so laced with the underlining scent of cruelity, or encouraged by the one that hung back.
Her words were nearly as chilled as her gaze.
"Surveying," his dull mono-word came out just as flat as the coloring in his eyes, he didn't blink as he kept eye contact with the other. "The Goblin King gave clearance for it." Might as well through out a name that hadn't even been given in the small 'meeting' not too long ago.

Holding the gaze unflinchingly, she tossed his words over in her head. The goblin king; he was referring to the alpha, no one else could carry such a title nor give permission to roam here freely. Any other wolf would show an outward sign, a slight narrowing of the eyes perhaps, but Mog was experienced and could hold her emotions and held her thoughts deep enough to give little, if nothing, away. There was more to this wolf that at first met the eye, not just in the fact the alpha had given him permission to walk his lands, she would have to find out at what cost this came at though, but something else as well.
The shadows about him seemed to be swirling and there was a feeling in the air that she could not quite explain, yes there was definitely something more to this wolf. She replied, her voice soft like mist in the morning though still icy cold, 'Those are rather blunt answers for someone entering lands like these, many of the wolves roaming these lands would not take kindly being spoken to in such a manner and are hot tempered enough to react before you had chance to blink.' She pondered a moment, his address had been rather blunt and what she said was true, a few of the wolves here were only good for one thing and would not of stopped to think why a strange wolf, outside of the pack would feel confident enough to give such an answer showing little respect. This was Mog's strength though and this is what she would bring to the pack.
'Tell me wolf, why have you a desire to survey these lands?' She thought upon her question for a while, if the alpha had given him permission he could not see him as a threat, or perhaps he did and was simply inviting the other to observe the wolves that roamed here and to make them think twice about possibly attacking. She didn't think that was it though, so what was it...

When he did blink they were quick and never breaking the eye contact, which regardless to the lack of body language, Adolfo could only ever so very faintly see the words were working around in the female's mind. After living so close to Agua Azul and being the 'brother-in-law' of the alpha female, who liked to play to other's favoritism to lure them in.
He did a mental shake of his head, wolves like those in this pack and Twist were the reason for the sudden need to move out of the willow. When the petite female spoke, Adolfo had to agree with the other, only mentally wouldn't give the satifaction to admit it.
Adolfo's tone shifted from the utterly dry to the tone he often used when instructing, but the subject of his answer would be the only cause for showing slight emotions. "They were rather disrespectful weren't they..." at her warning his explanation died on his tongue. This whole pack had the Twist complex, name made up by his sister Rally, they were just looking for power and ones to bow or submit to them.
It was time to move, especially if this pack grew, he wanted to be far enough away to let his offspring grow up happily, but close enough he could still see his brother and sister. He'd do the walking.
The ebony and ivory male wasn't going to reply to the warning, though the shadows promised to keep him and those he cared for safe. As they always did. Emerald auds sharpened abit at the demand. He was on foreign land, and with this meeting, he wouldn't bring Fie through this territory.
"I'm surveying for the quickest and clearest path for my family to travel through to the valley on the other side. There is too much going on around us to raise offspring in a healthy enviroment." He replied, eyes deadly with the thought of his families protection.
"I'd rather try to avoid those with unethical eating habits at all cost," he added in. "Is that clearer? I'm not here to threaten your pack with a nonexistant one, or to over-power your king, I'm just looking for a way to move my family out of the crossfire danger zone." By the time he was done with the statment, Adolfo's voice wasn't of the instructor tone, but that of one speaking with more age then his seasons.

Mog did not care for his tone, it hadn't improved since her warning and an adult should have had a bit more wisdom than this, you did not enter another's territory without giving respect whatever the nature of the pack. Mog was a diplomat though and held her rising temper for such insolent behaviour, the only outward sign was the slight frosting of her already icy eyes.
'I can understand the concern for your young and it is an admirable thing you are doing, we must all do what we believe best, for ourselves and our young.' This was very true, though what one believed another may believe differently, it was just a shame this wolf showed such little understanding of this by his lack of respect for another different to himself. Though she still could not fathom though as to why the alpha male would agree to this, what did he gain from allowing this male, and possibly his family, passing through his lands. She pushed again, 'Still, whatever your reasons for being here does not explain as to why the my alpha would agree to such a thing, perhaps he didn't and perhaps I should take action on that thought.'
She allowed that to sink in.

Adolfo broke from his instructor facade and looked the petite female eye to eye, even if he had to look down at her slightly. She was clever, more clever then most he had a run into, except for maybe the one that was her alpha. But just because she was clever and colder then even Twist, the shadows began to talk to him.
There was a warning in their many voices, then there was encouragement to take the female and her guardian down. They were thirsting for blood, blood like that of the bear he had smashed with their dark will.
Adolfo's shook his head slight at the yammering, both of the shadows and the threat the other issued.
He closed his eyes and tilted his head down, not really in a show of respect or of defeat, but more of the decision to really do the long walking around this 'kingdom'.
"Lady to the Reign of Terror, the Goblin King wanted to see my mate and how many pups we have together, my twin daughters spiked his interest with their bold action when they came across his path." Lifting his head and opening his emerald eyes, their was a spark in them now. They were no longer cold or bitter like uncleaned gems, but rimmed with something else.
"Besides, would you take the action that could forfeit your king from seeing someone he would like to join his court, or would your bodyguard in the shadows do it?" He didn't growl the words, they were in the same tone as the previous, and he wasn't expecting any signs of shock. Instead he expected for either this female to lung for him, or her larger guardian.

She met his stare unflinchingly and after a while she allowed a small smile to cross her jaw and at the same time she replied, humour tainting her voice, though there was no warmth to it, 'Be at ease wolf, I have no true desire to attack you.' The amusement was born from the assumption that she would act so irrationally, Mog planned and calculated all her moves and it was against her nature to lunge so carelessly into a situation such as that.
There was still something to this male she could not place, something that gave him the courage to stand in such a place and address her so. He was not young and there was wisdom in those eyes therefore it wasn't the arrogance of youth. She closed the space between them, the necklace about her neck emitting a faint blue aura and the triple bangles about her forelegs clicking softly. She flicked her eyes up towards his at an angle before drawing them down and passing him on his left hand side, circling him, not touching though close enough she could feel his body heat. Coming back on his right hand side she flickered her eyes up to his again before returning where she had stood to begin with.
She tried to relax the male, softening her eyes slightly, the ice melting and giving way to the intelligence than stood behind it. 'Yes, be at ease, Damon will not attack another without my consent or without good reason and he processes enough intelligence to judge that. I do not think you wish to enter this pack though, or allow your family too either.' She met his emerald eyes with her blue, 'And if it is the desire of the alpha's to allow you to pass through his lands for that reason I have yet to gain enough strength to be able to question those views.' She did not normally share her views with others so openly yet it was a tactic that could work from time to time.

((x.x Oops that was a major typoed sentence at the end of my last reply. Oh well...-kicks brain to work-))
The shadow master was half tempted to snort, had he the temperment of either of his sisters he probably would have... but no, his ears swiveled at that cold humoured laugh. Being at ease in this territory would be far less likely then him standing out in the light of day.
At this point Adolfo figured no comment was the best answer to her statement. The shadows hissed as she stepped closer to him. Adolfo kept his teeth from clenching at the high pitched sound, the shadows here were just as blood thirsty, or possibly power hungry as the pack in which they incircled. Closing his eyes he mentally told them to back off until necessary. All the while they told him where she was, not that his own body couldn't feel the body heat coming from the female.
Opening his eyes again he looked towards the flickering ice chips. Ice chips as they may, the female gave way to letting her intellegence blossom into her eyes, not that her frame yelled it out along with the respect she bluntly required.
A beauty the kills, the shadows chimed.
"I'll be at ease once I'm back with my family," he dully stated. As he took in the glowing necklace around the female's neck. His eyes moved back towards the blue ones before him. Ears taking turn focusing on the female and then flickering off to listen to the words of the shadows around him. The wolfess spoke of her 'guard' Damon. Sounded like she admired him, but Adolfo wouldn't hold anything to that thought, after all he had been wrong before.
But there was something about her tone. Something that made his other senses spike. Not necessarly warning, or more need for caution...how cautious could a wolf be?
His head tilted to the side as the shadows swirled about her. "I do not fear Damon, if you don't mind me using his name, but it's certainly a...comforting thought." He finally stated after a moment. "I would hope that my family wouldn't want to, but I'm not going to make anyone do anything against their will, even if they are of my blood."
Just like any parent, Adolfo knew one day his offspring would grow up, and possibly wander Telk looking for something. Especially with his twin daughters, and Debora leading the escapades it was possible his daughters would dash off and reappear sporadically as teens.
"Maybe the Goblin King should place you as an advisor." He suggested, not even sure if there was such a role in this 'pack' but hopefully he wouldn't be around long enough to find out either way. Adolfo dipped his head towards the lady, just to show he didn't mean them as a snark remark, but truth. "Although, I truly have no idea how your Lord runs his pack, but with that silver lined tongue. I'm sure you could sway almost anything Lady of Terror."

She noted the manner in which his ears constantly flickered about, no wolf would feel at ease in these lands, even with her empty reassurance, this much she knew. But at the same time his cool disposition did not match the way in which those ears flickered and listened out for something. She stored this observation away and answered him.
There was still amusement in her her voice, though as normal it lacked any heat which made it even less comforting that her usual chill whisper, 'An advisor? Do you think the alpha needs such a thing; he generally takes what he pleases, if it is my advise he seeks he will ask it of me. My silver tongue, as you so charmingly name it, will come in use when fore filling my duty as Lady; perhaps with your intention of forming your own pack, as I assume you intend to do, or living a quite family life I will be seeking you out at my alpha's comand and asking for tribute.'
Her head held high, she met his stare, the humour leaving her voice and returning to it's usual soft whisper, 'Then perhaps you will see me at my full potential,' She smiled up at him, though the gesture was only slight and a spark flickered into her blue eyes, 'Though perhaps not, depending on whether I have to work hard for my tribute or not...'
She stood of a while staring into those green eyes wondering what possibly lay behind them but for now she was content with what she had learnt. The alpha was interested in his pups and he intended on moving his family therefore it was only a matter of time before the alpha would desire tribute and she knew what would please her alpha the most; this wolf's pups, one would do but both of the twins. She smiled at the thought and then blinked the ice returning to her eyes, this meeting was over.
She turned her head away, as if it lead the rest of her body and she turned her back upon the tall, lean black and ebony wolf. Gliding away a few paces before twisting slightly and facing him side on. 'We will meet again, of that I am sure. What is your name wolf?'

That was the thing that bothered him the most about the Reign of Terror, the leader took what he wanted, and if he tried to take Fie. The shadows would be unleashed, or atleast Adolfo wouldn't hender them, unless of course she did go willingly to the black and red alpha's side. Adolfo stuggled mentally at keeping his lips from quivering in a silent snarl and he succeeded in only having a single small spasm.
"If I might referrer back to my previous words, I did state I do not know how your lord runs his pack." He wouldn't comment futher on the advisor thing, a single Hiarchy pack. It sounded like something he had heard being compared to something in the past.
The ebony and ivory male gave a faint smile, "Silver-lined, dear lady." Adolfo made the mild correction and a small spark, a different spark from any of the others that had lit his eyes up, jolted across his eyes, a spark of mystery.
"Only if you want to travel to the far off place, seeing as I don't even know the destination in which my family seeks." If his and Fie were going to start up a pack, he figured it would be in the same dark mountains where he had done his training and honing of his...special abilities, and that was nearly a weeks worth of non-stop walking away. So maybe he wouldn't be close enough to hear his brother's or sisters' howls if they needed his help, but the shadows would lend the extra ears to carry messages to him.
"A tribute from my family will not be an easy thing to get, so your true potential will more then likely be what shines through, Lady, even in the darkest of the shadows." His voice went to a smooth like the shadows about just as his head turned bring his body in the fluid motion.
As she turned to leave, the shadows swirling and trading out in this simplest of movement, in their action it would only be comparable to the stirring up of dirt. Stepping a few feet away, the shadows and his ears told him of her gliding movement on moving to a side-ways poise, his emerald eyes turned back towards her in that instant, ears perking up to hear her words.
"Without a doubt, Lady." He murmured, knowing that if other wolves didn't watch it, the Reign of Terror would be like the humans, sweeping in and killing off those that stood against them, not that they hadn't already started that. But the second sentence she spoke made an ear twitch back, maybe he had forgotten, or never thought to mention his name. Either way, he went with his birth name and not his other alias. "Adolfo, is what some call me, and might I know your name, just for the future when you might seek out tribute? Wouldn't want to go about giving it to another wolf wanting to move up in your lord's grace now would I?"

She stood, taking in his final words and placed the name Adolfo to memory. She found the last comment amusing though decided not to comment on it further, she simply spoke her name, 'Moghedien.' The syllables rolling off her tongue smoothly to caress the ear of the listener and then without any further consideration for the other wolf, she turned in one fluid motion and disappeared from sight.
