Dream turned the knob. The door creaked as it turned on it's hinge. "Well, this is it. There are two extra bedrooms down that hall. Their doors face each other. Next to the room on the right is a bathroom with all the essential crap.
"Over there" -- He pointed towards a large room -- "is the living room. To the left is the kitchen, and from there is my room. Not much else over there.
"There're a few other rooms and stuff, but I'm kind of hungry. Plus, I'm sure you might want to explore for yourself. If you want a snack or something, my house is your house."

Dream shrugged. "Sure. Why not? I don't have a purpose for you, so... yeah," he answered. He moved to the kitchen, and opened the pantry door. "So, anything in particular you want to eat? I could make something real quick.... Or burn something trying," he said, chuckling to himself.

"That's...wow." Mei-Mei breathed. "Well, if you ever need me for anything, I'll do it." She looked around and asked sort of meekly, "Do you have carrots? I haven't had carrots in a while, and being a bunny and all, well..."

"Alright. I'll be sure to tell you, then," he said. The refrigerator was opened. "I think I've got carrots..." A moment later, Dream handed a small bag of carrots to Mei-Mei. "There ya go." The boy disappeared and the doors of the fridge and pantry were closed. Paul was then seen in the living room next with a bag of chips.
He picked up the T.V. remote and turned the black flat-screen on. He stood for a moment flipping through channels. "Boring, boring, boring. Guess nothin's on," he said, tossing the remote back onto the couch. The thief turned. "Well.... I'll be eating outside. Call if you need me."
He started towards the door, but stopped. "Oh yeah! You can take your collar off," he told her. He gave a white collar to the usagi. "I already signed that, so sign the inside and put that one on if you go outside. Alright?"

"Thank you." Mei-Mei said, reaching into the bag of carrots. She put one in her mouth, and then caught the collar with the carrot dangling out her lips. She chewed it rapidly, and then cried, "No way! I-I can't believe this...you...got me...a white collar..." She tore off her other collar, the makeshift plastic breaking with ease. She immediately put it on, and then called, "Oh, wait!" Her face turned red as she said, "Well, I need to sign it, too...but I don't know how to write..."

Dream stopped. He turned around, the bag of chips making a distinct cackling noise. "That poses a problem, huh? Um... We'll work on that tomorrow. It'll be dark soon enough, and no one comes around here anyway. You can keep it on, or take it off, or whatever. For now, don't worry about it. Okay?" he said, smiling.
((I'm gonna place Nath and/or Leon in the Slave Shop again. XD ))

"Alright." Mei-Mei put the collar on. "I really have always wanted to learn how to write..." She nibbled a carrot again and said, "Thank you so much...I guess I'll see you when you come back in. I'll be wandering the house and getting lost."

Dream awoke with a start. Rain patted him gently in the face. He got to his feet quickly, and the chips fell to the ground. Thunder roared in the distance; lightning accompanied it. The water fell harder to the ground. It soon began pouring. "Must've fallen asleep on accident," he said. Dream picked up his chips and walked in the direction of the house. He was a few minutes away from it, and soon was at the porch. He opened the door, soaked to the bone. He shut the door and moved to the kitchen, where he disposed of the food. He took his wet jacket off and changed into clothes that were identical to the drenched ones.

Mei-Mei was found in front of the television, looking at the remote control in a very frustrated way.
"Gahhh! Why won't it work!" Mei-Mei muttered, not noticing that the batteries were on the floor.

Paul looked through the hole from the kitchen to the living room. "The batteries are supposed to be in it," he called. He threw his jacket across the hall into the laundry room. "You don't know much about technology, do you?" he asked.

"Not really..." Mei-Mei sighed, "It's like, I've lived in a cage most of my life, and all the rest of the time we've been forbidden to have any because we're afraid that the technology can get us caught. It's hard..." She sighed, picked up the batteries, and attempted to jam them into the remote the wide way instead of the tall way.

The boy sighed. He stepped into the room and sat down. He grabbed the batteries, placed them into the remote, and handed it back to Mei-Mei in the span of ten seconds. "There you go," he said. He sighed again. "I can never tell if I hate the rain or not."

"Thank you." She nodded, pressed a button on the remote, and the television finally turned on. It was one of those animal shows, and it showed a small bunny hopping around in the forest.
"Aww." She grinned, then shut her eyes and screamed at the top of her lungs when a coyote was about to lunge at and devour the innocent rabbit.
"Alright, I don't think I'm watching this anymore."

The boy covered his ear as she screamed. He quickly turned the T.V. off. "Ow..." he mumbled. "Okay. Well, I'm ready for breakfast."
((Brain has died, and a large wall just stopped my creativity from coming back.))
