With gangs and posses running amok across
the wild, wild west, it's men of the law like Sheriff
John Wade that keep things under control.
Unfortunately, Sheriff Wade hasn't been doing
as good a job as he was meant to, and the
notorious William Donnelly and his gang of
outlaws has decided to raid the small town
of Contention, Texas.
Fortunately, the good folks of Contention have
decided to take defense into their own hands,
and have organized a small militia in the hopes
of combating Donnelly and his notorious band.

But the men in Donnelly's posse are, for the most
part, strapping young men who'd like nothing
better than to have a sweet-faced girl on their
arm. Naturally, the proud fathers of Contention
don't want to see their young beauties batting
their eyelashes in the direction of the uncouth
outlaws, and will do anything in their power to
run Donnelly's gang out of town -- with or without
the help of Sheriff Wade.
