They bring you the films you love, some of their works touch your soul or crush your heart, the director the visual meastro of film...

Equally important, the actressess and actors who bring the characters to life.

Which ones transcend mere mortality in your eyes and why? Not easily impressed? Fine, who's should be kicked out of hollywood RIGHT NOW and why?

Excellent list Kira

I submit gerard butler http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87F3OWJEeQU fantastic combo of hotness, accent, and great acting ablitiy

For directors M. Night Shyamalan.

As for who to get rid of Paris Hilton, wait does she even count as an actress?

Renton's list not mine, while I like Clive Owen and Bruce willis I couldn't put either of them on the greatest actors list...they can only play one or two characters, and most of their performances, though excellent, all play out the same.

Al Pacino is definately good.

As for directors.....I think Martin Scorsese of course, but I'm also a big fan of Guillermo Del Toro and M. Night Shyamalan

Indeed, I was also VERY impressed by Hellboy 2. As far as Del Toro goes he's only got one test left...the Hobbit.
