You step far away from the perky lady at the desk. She's looking at you with the same smile, but the slitted eyes haven't left. You turn away from her and go toward the second door from the left. You stare to the left door post. It bears the carving of a small teenager, brandishing his automail arm in the air and the look of determination across his face. On the right side is a large suit of armor with a frightening look, but deep inside, the small, timid soul of a mismatched boy. You stare up at the top doorpost. On the far edges of the post, something dark forms on it. In the center is a scarlet red stone, dripping in blood. Sure, you feel sorry for these poor souls, you know their horrid story. You reach for the door knob, you have to help them somehow. It flings open on your touch, you're pulled in to a world of wonder, symbols, science and magic... and... pain...

This Is Faith's Story Line. RESPECT IT!

Some cheesy music with a drum pounding at the end signaled a fade-in to a news room with a lady sitting behind a desk organizing her papers. "Seconds. That is all it takes for even some of the strongest assets to our community to be kidnapped." The young lady with long brown hair and black eyes said with a sense of drama through the lenses of the TV broadcast as she regrouped her papers into one stack in front of her, she adorned a formal suit possibly the one she wore to work always, crossed legs. "The state alchemist Edward Elric has been kidnapped. This is the tenth State Alchemist abduction this week." She said and a couple of moments later a picture of Ed trying to shove his hand toward the camera before the flash with gritted, pointed teeth and a completely white look to his slightly narrowed eyes. "The people believed held responsible for these acts still have not been identified, and we did not get any interviews from any relatives of any of the alchemists. It is said that the scene where Edward was kidnapped provided little evidence, such as a piece of cloth with traces of chloroform and a piece of paper with a series of numbers on it. This case is a long way from being solved, so if you have any information you can inform us by phone." She briefly paused as the numbers to the TV station flashed on the screen and then promptly went onto the next subject.

This was around the time that Edward was fading in and out of consciousness, he felt the cold metal frame that he was lieing on, and when he was able to open his groggy eyes he let out a faint moan and glanced around. His vision was still blurred, but he could see that he was trapped in what seemed to be a cage. Then he heard two voices, they were both unfamiliar but he tried to listen in on the conversation. "Test subject AV2D is ready." One of the men said and an acknowledgement came soon from the other one. A girl, presumably unconscious was laying still on top of what seemed a test or hospital bed as a man pushed her past Edward's cage, strapped at her arms and legs with heavy buckles, she seemed to have been put in some sort of water because her hair and clothes were dripping wet and now stuck to her body skin-tight. It did not take him long to fall back into unconsciousness because he had previously been working on a case that strained his sleeping hours as well, and so he did not fight it. Closing his eyes he began to rest again, before becoming completely unconscious he whispered the word, "Alphonse."

Name: Fae Valdamir

Allias/State Alchemist Title: Muse

Age: 21

Bio: Growing up on the outskirts of Risenbul, her father and mother being ones professing in the arts and psycology, it was only natural that she grow fond of reading, painting but most important of all music. The guitar that she had received for her eigth birthday is her weapon in the present due to heavy customization. Soon she took up fighting lessons by her nearby and close friend, Tore (Toh-re), nicknamed "Torn." and soon after enrolled toward joining the military at the age of 17. Her parents shunned her for these actions, they had wanted her to be a psychologist, or a musician. Which in some ways she is, but she uses it for the good of the military.

Weapon(s):

The Guitar
The guitar has half of an elaborate alchemy seal hidden in the base of it. It's model is a Washburn XB 120 left-handed BASS guitar with a transparent black finish, blue electricity painted on the back of it. It has been with her for nine years and she knows how to play it extremely well. The strap that it is connected to has been specificaly customized so that if she is wearing it at her back, she can grab the nose of the guitar and flip it over to her front. Instead of her wearing the guitar with it's base at the bottom, she wears it the opposite way.
She rarely has to use the long switchblade that comes out of the neck of the guitar and up to the top of it as if it were a sword; only when she is in hand to hand combat will she ever use this.

Alchemy - A Dog of the State's Best Friend
The alchemy that she uses is both defensive and offensive. She uses the weapon of hers to eminate soundwaves by the frequency of electricity in the air to send massive sonic waves toward a specific target. Her powers are at it's weakest stage, but a rumor has spread around the military to watch out for her abilities.

Appearance: A shillouette of skinnyness, she weighs in at about 129 lbs and a lanky 5"6' in height. Vibrant silver hued eyes flecked with orange always having a frame of sadness seen inside them. Her hair long and frenzied outward in pointed cuts. Sometimes she is found wearing a black beanie with the Military's logo on it in bold red. She is usually found wearing her favorite clothing: a comfortable pair of black, baggy pants and a green tank top along with some strange silk gloves with metal at the fingers for playing the guitar, the gloves fade to an armor as they go up to her elbows. Black standard military boots.

|| I worked on it all week. biggrin ||

Risenbul. The city was filled with people just trying to live; to survive from the poverty that had stricken them even harder than a depression. Although you would never have noticed this unless you looked strongly past the defenses of their warm smiles and gentle waves of hello.
The town worked like a heiarchy, on the scale of rich to poor. No "Dream" had affected their minds, and they had decided they would just let the Military rule over them. The only rich were the high-up of the military. Now without their star "Hero of the City", Edward Elric, there would be panic among them.

Flickering off into the wind the ashes flittered off of the cigarette held by the white gloved hands of the same ashy grey of the dried out flakes that still had little life left in them; floated softly with the smoke coming from the very long thin cigarette. An exhale came from the light cherry colored lips and more smoke filled the air. Sharp, strong silver eyes stared at the TV screen at the fairly attractive news anchor. "There have been a rash of millitary kidnappings as of late, please be carefull all military personell." She said, her last few words will such enthusiasim it made the young woman watching want to puke. "The hero of Risenbul has fallen among the missing these past few days. No one has any trace as to where the alchemists are ending up.." A picture of Edward glaring angrily at the screen as if someone had called him a midget, appeared on screen as it panned away from the anchor. "We have the younger broth--" The TV clicked off. Inhailing more toxicity from the cig, she shook her head in symphathy, some of the patrons of the bar remarking in anger. Catching one saying, "Filthy state dog..," He suddenly caught his toungue as her sharp glance fell upon him. Very little anger reflected from her, but surely the contemplating look escaped her. Turning, she left the bar without causing a fight luckily. Walking down the side of the street, she put her hands inside the military standard jacket that had been issued to her the first day of her initation to the State Alchemists. Expectedly, her left hand rested and held tight to her pocketwatch. A cautiousness was with her. The kind of cautiousness that could lash out a dagger at any moment and slit an assailants throaght out before a chance of harm coming to herself. She supposed all of the passers-by noticed her nervousness beside her calm face and kept a distance from her.
Walking toward a train station. She was prepairing to go to the home that she had grown up in, where her father and mother resided. It hung off of a peacefull wing of a residential part of Risenbul. She had a couple of days off from work so she had decided to visit her mother and father, she had't seen them in about a month. Though she had mailed her father her instrument for maintenance on it's several customizations. Dropping a couple of coins into the slot at the start of the train and stepping into the compartment and then into a single apartment she glanced around for a couple of moments after sitting down and then looked out the window for a couple of minuets before her ride would be over. It would only take thirty minuets to get there, and only twenty minuets to walk to her home. Ten if she ran.
Stepping off of the train she began to walk away from the station. After about two minuets of walking she broke off into the run on the eastern road. Soon she found herself slowing down at the sight of her own house. It filled her with a pride. A grey brick home sat infront of her. Wild, overgrown vines and limbs grew against the gate that surrounded it. Two lions sat at either end with feirce stone eyes and stone hearts guarding the place. She could see as she opened the gate, a guitar case sitting next to the door on the large wooden porch that was low to the ground. Speeding up to get to it, she grabbed the strap of the guitar case and lifted it up. Yep. The guitar was inside. But why would he leave it out here, she wondered. So, she tried to open the door. Locked. Reasoning the obvious, they had left the exact date that she wanted to visit them. That was just like them to do such things. They were odd like that. Sighing, she turned around and looked toward the street and just stood there. The house made her comfortable, and she was afraid if she stepped back out into the world that she would not be as comfortable. Closing her eyes she stepped off of the porch and put the guitar strap over her head so she would not have to carry it all the way back home. Pushing the gate open, she would leave it open for mom and pop to understand that she had been there.
That was when she spotted a peculiar car. She had seen it before, near the station. Was it following her? Why had she not noticed it before? Slanting her eyes she began to walk down the street opposite of the car and silently pulled out her pocketwatch. Opening the metal frame, she could see the car in the glass of the watch move foreward as she moved. Definantly. Stopping as she began to put the watch back, she had not had enough time to notice the white van that sat nearby her; she had just walked past it. The man in white had slipped out of the van and now had her in a headlock. Struggling, she dropped the pocketwatch and tried to grab for her guitar. And that was when the chloroform filled napin went over her nose and mouth. The last thing she saw was the large, plain black print on the side of the van. "SBIA."

Thump-ump... Thump-ump...

Meryl opened her eyes in a sweaty haze. Breathing deeply to calm herself, she noticed she had no idea where she was. Test-tubes and weird, red-hued substances, this had to be somekind of lab of somesort. She sat up from the white padded dentist-chair-thing. Walking out the door, she saw men in white coats yelling at her. Meryl stepped back and the strangers pulled out guns. She panicked and ran. Being scientists, they had terrible aim, so they hadn't shot her, yet. She came to a dead end.

The scene was that of horror in all essence, though Fae had no consciousness to the surroundings her body was being settled into. Several an alchemist were lain up in the large laboratory room, either in large recuperation chambers (Perhaps to mishaps in the scientific study), kennels, and walled cages. Only a few of the people were up, either screaming or curled up in a ball rocking in their last few fathoms of sanity. She was only waking up after the shattering scream of a young girl, a state alchemist, erupt due to scientists walking in. She could hear their footsteps taking the girl away. Paralysed with fear for a couple of moments, soon she stood up and noticed that she was within one of the walled in cages. Her guitar was gone, but she was still in the same alchemist coat she had been wearing before. But oh, they had searched her. She always kept a couple of knives in handy just for this kind of occasion. Walking up to the narrow slit in the first wall that was the door, she glared out and then went wide eyed around at all of the people. Looking toward the ground into the kennels, she spied the Full Metal kid still uncontious, shifting her eyes with a grin despite her condition, she knew they must have had trouble with him trying to escape before. And that was why they were keeping him uncontious with drugs. Sitting down again, there was nothing else to do. Looking down at her alchemy seal, she sighed and closed her eyes.

Izzi awoke to a bloodcurdling scream in a sort of dungeon cell. She had no idea where she was, and even more questions arose: What am I doing here? How did I get here? Who am I?
With that, her feelings of confusion and terror were magnified, then suddenly repressed with the sight of a little kid in the cell next to her. Maybe he knew who she was.
She began to poke at him, wanting to ask him about herself, but he wouldn't wake. After trying to wake him for what seemed like forever, she slumped against the wall, hopeless.

Fae opened her eyes and focused on nothing, almost in a spaced out manner, but then she saw something out of the corner of her eye. A small movement in the direction of the Elric's imprisonment. Taking her focus on this, she saw that a girl was wide awake in the cell next to him, promptly poking him but soon after giving up and returning back. Fae felt like saying something, anything to show that she was still in her "normal" state of mind as well, not driven insane. But what do you say when you are locked up inside a cage like an animal, and possibly soon tested like one? She couldn't think of anything. "H-Hey?" She said to the girl's direction and got up into a crouched position, laying her hands flat onto the floor and leaning foreward so that she could see further out of her entrapment.

Alrighty, I have inspiration!

Name: Yushi Nintu
age: 14
race: Chimera
Bio: It was an average day for Yushi, walking home from school, when she was suddenly grabbed around the neck and suffocated with chloroform. SHe used to be quiet, not very outgoing, but always wanted friends.
appearence: She has long, blonde, hair that falls over her eyes like the drapery around windows.

Slam

She was flung down, sliding across the brick floor. She groaned, she was in so much pain, not only from the fall, but also all over her body. She was dripping wet, from water or sweat, she couldn't tell; all she knew was she was cold, horribly cold. She shivered and scrunched her self into a ball, arms crossed over her knees. There she slept, on the cold floor, in the cold room, with cold water on her in the absolute cold....

She woke up to a scream, uttered by one and heard by all. She slowly sat up and crawled to a wall. All those that she passed scooted away from her, fear across their faces, but she didn't care. She just wanted to wake herself up and organize her thoughts. Once at the wall, she pulled her knees close to her and put her hands on her knees...to discover the only other article of clothes besides a white smock on her... gloves.
Why would they only put gloves on me? She wondered. She began to take them off when she noticed that they had changed...horribly. Her skin was black and cracked, her nails had been peeled off, her skin peeled off to show red, bleeding scars; she quickly pulled the gloves back on her hands, horrified she would faint at the sight of them. She glanced at her feet to notice a little yellow thing wrapped next to them. She reached for it and pulled, and felt a great pain above her bottom. She yelped at the sudden pain and noticed that it wasn't her voice...or did her voice change...

It sounded like a cat...wait... She felt the top of her head....IT was true, they hadn't changed her hands...they had changed her... the had turned her into a chimera!

Withdrawing after hearing no response to her small greeting, she looked over as the scientists had dragged the girl into the room and opened a steel cage and flung her in there. She flying like a rag-doll almost. Her heart went out to her, but her face remained serious as she stared to the faces of the scientists. "You will never get away with this." She glowered, and grabbed the bars of her kennel but was promptly shocked by it and she quickly let go. Oh, how she longed to stand up. Stand up and kick those two mad scientist's asses. One of the scientists kicked her cage as he left, and she fell back on her butt and folded her arms. Eyes slanting slightly with her frustration as she looked inward on herself, thinking. How was she going to get herself out of this one?
PostPosted: Sat Dec 31, 2005 6:54 pm

Yushi began shaking uncontrollably...She tried to calm herself down, but it was too shocking, changing from normal to freak in her sleep just killed her...

.........It was sudden that she noticed the other girl in the cage next to her. Only when she grabbed at the bars of her cell and was shocked, then kicked by scientist did she become noticable. Yushi crawled over to the girl, her hands screaming in pain with each step. Once near the girl, she reached through the bars and placed a hand on her sholder.
"Are you ok?" She still had a little resemblence to cat-ness in her voice, but mostly it was her usual, quiet voice.

((Sorry about the late update. !@#$ parental controls...))
Izzi's head jerked up. Someone had noticed her; maybe this person knew who she was.
"Hello," she greeted without precaution. "Do you know who I am?"
