Ok, that was supposed to be a pun, for those who didn't catch my bad punning.
SUBJECT = VOTIN POLLS FOR ELECTION '08
Well, I get to help out Right to Life of Michigan this Tuesday by standing 100feet from the entrance to a school facility and handing out pro-life ballots. Personally, I hate McCain, but we also have a proposal in Michigan for Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research, which would allow Unrestricted research on the embryos... and so I guess passing out for that justifies me passing out McCain ballots as well xP
Stupid 100feet law!

I get to vote on whether South Dakota makes abortion illegal again or not! biggrin
I'm excited. Best election ever. Even though I dislike both the candidates.

I liked the pun. ^ ^
I'm sorry, your post was a little difficult to understand. sweatdrop From the title of the thread, I assumed you meant a Gaia poll. Then you went from Pro-life ballots to McCain to being 100 feet away from where you want to be. o_O I need sleep or something!
Edit - how are people at school responding so far to your pro-lifeness?

You can't stand closer than 100 ft to a school when passing out fliers, because they don't want kids to be constantly pestered by handouts.
And I'm guessing he had to pass out "Vote McCain" pamphlets as well as "Vote against Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research" pamphlets.

@Lorysa ---
I meant the actual voting polls for the election! Kids at school, it depends, some are nice, some are mean, some pro-choice, some pro-life, and some could care less!
@I.Am ---
I have to pass them out this year... he=me? I should look at my post, my Dad and Stepmom are going through a divorce... so my thoughts were a bit... off

afaik, at least in NY, the rule is you have to be at least 100 feet from any polling place, school or not. I think it was that way in Louisiana, too.
If you hate McCain, why campaign for him? neutral

Because he's the candidate that doesn't support letting babies born in botched abortions die without medical intervention and the candidate who hasn't decided he will sign the Freedom of Choice Act into law and so pro-life groups back McCain over Obama and if you're campaigning with a pro-life group they'll probably ask you to round-aboutly campaign for McCain since he's probably on the pro-life ballot, is my guess.
Edit: I'm sorry to hear about your parents sad

Yeah, they'll be fine!
Um, yes, Michigan Right to Life backs McCain as the Pro-life candidate, because he apparently agreed to take the Republican platform on Abortion ^.^

I don't like McCain and I don't trust him to be president. All I ever hear from his is usually just some comment about Obama, he supports war, and won't give the middle class as big of tax brake.
Don't care where he stands on abortion, you need more then that in order to make a good or decent president. Plus he seems too rash in decision making (he picked Palin as Vice President, that should tell you something). There are more then two people running to be president, why don't we hear about the others?
As for stem cell research, I heard they can use umbilical cords instead of embryos, way not do that?
