light for sure. I might be a bigger L fan, but light was able to win and still trick many upon many of others. He had the smarts and the skillz to take all down before him.

Near didn't die either... But I'll still choose Misa. The smartest girl in the show. And the only Kira that was still alive and unjailed in the end.
And nope, Light wasn't superior because of his smart, just because of his sheer tool mastery (using others as tools.) However, he was shown to be a lousy chooser when it came to his tools, as shown in the final arc.
I do like L, but I also like Near. Specially with the way he dealt with the C Kira, he didn't even have to investigate that one. (Funniest epilogue for a series ever, too...)

It would probably be a tie for me between L and Light they are both smart but since i like light more ima go with light xD
Anyways i find near and mello SO much dumber and boring than L the L VS Kira episodes were the best : after that it kinda got boring

I like L, although it would have been better if he was more mysterious. I realy liked watching the battle of wits. For some reason, I find Missa really annoying.

While Misa did not die by the end of the manga/anime the creators have said that she kills herself about a month or so after the story ends.

Time Line
02. 14. 2011 Misa Amane Dies.
the Final Part of the time line. Everyone who used the Death note in the anime/manga pretty much suffers and dies.
besides if the creator says it's canon it's canon.
Rolling is a different case as she went and stated something in her books was wrong. She later said in an interview that harry Potter was not the "unintended Horclix(SP) dispite expaining so in the book.
