its an easy mod, u just need a 1/4inch round file and a fair bit of free time.

i did it to my Ibanez RX.
makes it a bit different to play, and tappping slightly more difficult but i easyly got used to scalloped frets.
i made em DEEP compared to Yngwie Malmsteen's sig strat
(but i think i overdid it so i put on lighter strings)
