Does anyone like effeminate men/masculine women? (Not necessarily homosexual men/women) If your friends know, what do they think about it?
As for me, I do like men in dresses/skirts and not just for aesthetic reasons either. (Like man-faye. I don't think he's pretty physically) Men in this country have strict social roles (Manly, in charge) even though male dominance has waned over the past hundred years. I like men who break out of that mold of what a man should be. Not saying that I wouldn't like a manly man but I'm just saying that I'd like men in dresses too. and well, masculine women/tomboys are very common here so, there's nothing really strange about that.
My friends aren't really supportive of me as far as this. They don't even really know what my preferances are but they say the usual 'ew' and the more egotistical friends I have try to convince me to think otherwise.

Dresses are just such a wonderful thing it is just plain wrong to restrict them to women.
They are just soo beautiful, I mean we culturally made pants completely gender nuetral, why don't we get dresses without funny looks from the general public?
All the sexiest stuff is general intended for women, but in my opinion is still hot on men.

some men actually make damn good looking women. i myself am a tomboy, but i can dress feminine when the occassion calls for it. most of the time it's baggy jeans and large shirts with hiking boots. my cousin dressed up as a woman once for fun. he had a tubetop, short shorts, heels. he even went so far as to curl his hair since it was long and wear makeup. the only thing he didn't do was shave his legs xd i even have pictures. i bet his wife would love to see those twisted she'd laugh her a** off.

I'd never in a million years be attracted to my brother, but when he was in good shape he had an idea for a halloween costume.
He'd dress up as a woman that was trick or treating as a clown.
He was convincing too, people actually bought that he was just a woman trick or treating dressed like a clown.
Long story short he got dragged into alot of girl talk.

Oh I love a guy in a skirt. One of my online friends who calls me mistress all the time wore a skirt and took a picture and sent it to me. He's really skinny but he looked good. Some guys in girl clothes are jus'...drool. The girls around here are too girly girl for my taste...there is a tomboy but she jus' scares me..but she hit on me once and I was like >.> I think she thinks I'm straight but so does everyone else. I used to be able to pass for a boy when I did my hair a certain way and wore clothing more like boys...I can't do that now or I'd look like a boy with a boob job sweatdrop

Sorry to ressurect this >_>; (been kicked offline for a couple weeks here)
For me, even in guys clothes - as in where I work, I am constantly mistaken as a girl. Some people see it others really dont get why.
But I have worn womens clothes. Dont get to much hehehe but thats because I live at home and my parents think that I am odd enough. I really honestly like some clothing, and I do look rather good in much of it as well. biggrin
However I dont like gender based stereotypes. That I really feel people should not feel the need to follow what is deemed right for thier gender. That I do not enjoy holding back anymore, and yet being completley open and free about it is unfortunately not an option either in this society.
As far as others that wear clothes typical of the opposite sex. I find nothing wrong with it. Some girls look great as guys, and some guys look great as girls. Either way I can complain ^_^

People can wear whatever the hell they want. I don't care.
I hate how society fixes their idea to be something so specific. Media doesn't help. Furk the mainstream.
If someone wants to wear something, they can wear what they durn well please. [ I'm trying to tone down my language the best I can, sorry if I'm offendin' anyone. ] Who do they think they are, setting a basis for people to follow?
People can make their choices. That doesn't mean people have to like what other people do, but that's their own business. I don't like some things people do, but I don't go out and picket and storm around about it.
A guy wants to wear a skirt? More power to him. I would, if I was a guy. They have before, why can't they now? Jus' 'cause they're not stuck to a breast-plate?
Whatever. I think I'm done now.
