I just had a good idea for a contest if we could work it out.
We've all ben ranting for ages about how we'd like Barton Army art. Why don't we hold an art contest? Everyone gets displayed that's appropriate, certain rules and guidlines could shape what it is besides army themed...
And a committee could decide which one wins teh first prize!
Just an idea. I thought it would be awesome to see what people might draw for us if motivated.

You think so? We'd have to figure out how to work it. It could even be an on going thing like the lottery. Like, each month have a new theme for people to draw, the winner gets a prize, etc. After a while, we could decorate teh hell out of the guild XD Of course, assuming peopel participated. And I wouldn't know how to decide who judges, who comes up with themes, when due dates are, etc...
Too bad no one comes in here, I'd love some input from teh others to see ifthey're on board with teh idea, and suggestions.

It'd have to be not so much an art contest as an image contest. People can make some interesting images without an ounce of art skill.
Of course, the images have to be judged by someone without bias, or as close as you can get, so the judges might have to be chosen based on the images submitted. After all, we want such a thing to be fair.
(Bias is good in some cases, but we don't want favoritism.)

Hey, I'd like to hold a contest of my own! It will be a small contest...But, I'm hoping that it will get a little bit more of the guild members active. Its a simple contest, that many people use in many different places: A dice rolling contest!
And, Chang, I know I should get permission from you before I make it, but if you don't respond within a few days, and since I'm a crew member, it won't be too bad if I make it, right? I'll give you a few days time to respond, otherwise, I will just make it. ((Since its all going to be my own money and what not, it shouldn't matter too much if I do it without permission, right? Espechially since you never said that we had to have persmission. xd ))
