Hafi lay on a rock. Dusk was beginning to fall, and she played with the little beast between her paws. A pup- jackal. Trying desperately to escape, but to no avail. Hafi was only just keeping it in place, not caring about what really happened to it. Her mind was elsewhere. She'd fallen into a bit of a boring swing lately. She'd been doing as she always had, kill, meander, meet, mess with the minds of whatever she bumped into, leave and kill again. Repeat. A boring daily pattern, she longed for something much more exciting to do. The only one who had ever made her life interesting... Hadn't shown himself in quite a while.

Her tail flicked and the pup continued to try to escape. She quickly grabbed the creature's neck and crushed it, finishing it off. She'd decided: The only way to make a change would be to find that male. Find him, and see what he would do.

Most normal lions would hate him after all he'd done to her. Most, but certainly not her. She'd come around to an odd outlook on him, at least from herself. She didn't hate him, but she greatly respected him. And so with this in mind, she left behind the carcass of her last victim and headed off, wandering anywhere.
