Welcome to the Clear Waters Park and Campground. There are twenty open slots found in the campground and all are up for the taking. One comes to the campground through a main entrance for bikes, pedestrians, horseback and cars (though cars are extremely expensive nowadays with gas costing over $6.00 a gallon). To the right of the entrance is the ground's keeper's house. The ground's keeper is named Bob Ferris, a single man, a widower, who is about sixty-seven with salt-and-pepper hair that is cropped short. His grandchildren come over ever so often to visit him, as well as his three children.
Down the road/path a bit further, there is the main road and four roads to the right at an equal distance away from each other. Each road/path that goes to the right is a set of five camping sites.
In between the second side road and the third side road is a playground that is red colored with swings, ladders, monkey bars, a large sandbox, a tire swing and slides. There are many benches nearby as well as a water fountain and a bathroom building that contains about three stalls in each bathroom excluding the family bathroom. The family bathroom is simply a larger bathroom where more than one member can be in, usually for the families.
At the end of the road, with the fourth road to the right, there is a boat launch connected to the main road, a dock near it, and a road to the left. The left road leads to the beach where there is a small playground, a concession stand that is sometimes open, a bathroom/shower building, and a guard house. A sign on the beach front, however, says that the guard is not always on duty so parents should watch to make sure their children are safe. The swimming area is blocked off so that no swimmer will go out too deep. In the deep end, there is a floating diving plateau from which any swimmer can dive off of, provided that they know how to swim.
The fishing is good on the lake though there is a no-wake area near the shore, for the safety of the swimming area. All sites have partial shade and the beach has partial shade as well. All of the sets of sites have a bathroom/shower building located midway between the campsites. Each site has water connections and electricity connections; though one need not use them, they are there for a camper's help/convenience.
