Kleio had just arrived at the little cafe located in a rather large Mall. Today she was going to spend with her best friend, and someone she hadn't seen in a while. He'd caught himself a nice lady, so it only made sense that he should spend more time with her. Still, she was excited to get to see him again.
However, they were both fairly quiet, and total bookworms. But that was the great part, they could sit and enjoy a nice book together and never worry about awkward silences. In a way, they were like brother and sister. She'd always stick up for Elyo, just like she knew he'd stick up for her if needed.
She was now sitting in a large arm chair that was arranged in front of a decorated fireplace. It wasn't real, but the heat was still coming from it,and with the recent weather outside, it felt nice against her cool fur. She waited quietly with her latte, she didn't mind waiting, she was always the silent type and it never bugged her.

Trotting into the cafe, Elyo hummed a soft, pleasant tune. He immediately got into line, wishing to grab himself a drink before settling down with Kleio. Kleio and him hadn't corresponded in quite a while, so he was excited to see her again for the first time in a bit. He doubted they would talk much, but that didn't matter. Being with her always made him feel good.
Grabbing his caramel iced coffee, Elyo bustled over to a pair of fairly large chairs, both seeming overstuffed to the max. They sat in front of a fake fireplace that, even though it gave off heat, had nothing to do with fire.
Elyo stumbled over to meet Kleio, settling down in the stuffed armchair opposite the one she was sitting in. "H-hey, Kleio," Elyo said sheepishly, setting his iced coffee down.

"Heya Elyo!" Nice to see you again after so long!" Kleio smiled happily, she was sincere with everything she said. Elyo was only one of her best friends, and basically her only friend. She didn't branch out often to meet new people. She smiled and rearranged herself in her chair to be closer to Elyo, she was one person she didn't mind getting close to.
"How have you been lately?" She smiled pleasantly to him.

Smiling, Elyo sipped his iced coffee and shifted in his seat. "Yes!" Elyo said, enthusiastically nodding along. "It's been too long, Kleio!" He said, fully meaning it. He missed his little chats with his best gal.
Hardly noticing her movement, he smiled. "I've been great! But more importantly - how are you?" He took another quiet sip of his caramel iced coffee and continued on smiling. Being with Kleio always made him happy. Being with Tajah did too, of course, but with Kleio it was different. There was no semi-romantic pressure, and she knew that when she leaned into him it wasn't for a kiss or anything like that - simply to hear him better, or something of the sort. Kleio was an absolute sweety, and Elyo and Kleio were the perfect best friends.
