Who else likes Kaine? ^^; I finished reading it today, and I love it. heart The story was great, but the ending was so sad.
Kaine's character design reminds me of Rosiel's, and Die's character design reminds me of Sakuya's.
I thought it was sort of funny, too that, Die is a guitarist, and happens to have the same name as one of Dir en grey's guitarists. Funny coincidence, ne? ^^
Anyway, I really loved Kaine. As sad as the ending was, the story and art are both beautiful. heart

Kaine was a great one, all right.
The end is open for interpretation, ne? But yeah, it was surprising, definitly!

It's about..oh, it's a bit complicated to explain. A musician, Kaine, and his brother are in a car accident. Kaine is killed, and his brother wakes up to find that his hair has been dyed like his brother's; he is expected to replace his brother in his band. Spoilers in white: It's a bit hard to describe it that way, though, since..well..the person who died was actually his brother and he IS Kaine..Anyway, I wonder why Kaine shot himself in the end of the manga? Regret for his brother dying? That would make sense, except that that hadn't even come up for several pages before he shot himself.

Oh Kaine was so cool. The ending kind of surprised me though. I loved the art, Kaori Yuki is the best! 3nodding

Anyone here who knows the short stories which are published in Kaine? I'll check for you when I get home. No manga at school. No manga at the mall. Yeah. I'm in the middle of a mall at 3:50 AM. Radio marathon. Fun. Crazy, tiring, frustrating at times, but for a good cause. My mental facilities are a bit addled at the moment, so I'm rambling.

And, well, they really can't be compared to her newer works, but it's quite funny to see what Kaori Yuki drew when she was still a... Not a beginner, but not as good as now, know...?

Yes, I love it too^^ And you're right about the content either, it's really a bit strange... But funny in their own way, though. Well, I'm really glad Kaori Yuki stopped drwaing comedy/romance, as she called it O� Bloodhound seems to be comedic/romantic a little...but all her manga have a dark edge to them now.
