The worst thing about Metal, is the fans. Or so Trevor says. I agree with him.
For the most part metal fans bug the crap out of me. Now most of us in here are different but, hey we can't escape it.
There's always that person who is up in your face, being obnoxious. That really get's on my nerves, "WHOOO I'M A METAL FAN! I LISTEN TO SLAYER!!! I DRINK BEER AND I'M 14!!!!!!"

I try and break the stereotype. But it's hard when 90% of them are like that. I see no reason to be outwardly loud. Especially when waiting in line for a show. There's no point in yelling at cars as they drive by, it's just dumb.

Yelling at cars? neutral In Britain it's the chavs that do that lol Metalheads are more reserved here unless a big group gets together xd Then we all go nuts and rip each others eyes out

We go nuts too, we are just really dumb about the whole fiasco. I still love laughing at the kids who have their mother drop them off, in a minivan right in front. LOL
Oh this was a hoot, My buddy said to me "Don't ya just hate kids who comes to shows?" I said "They shouldn't allow anyone under the age id 18 to go."
Because there was this kid, couldn't have been older than 16 next to us.
He gave me a dirty look. I gave him one right back.

When I saw Trivium last April there were about 5 8 year olds with their parents there which was pretty funny because they were all so small. It was good though because they were next to me so I got loads of fresh air 3nodding

I'm a loud person, I have a loud voice, probably because all the hearing damage, but I'm not friggen' obnoxious about it. And Mega, its not just the shitknot fags, its across the board. When it happens at Helloween concerts, there's a problem. I blame it on the alcohol, personally. Everyone doing it is usually drunk or high or a combination.

Yeah Metal fans and their boasting. lol
I don't get it though, how can you brag about loving a genre? confused I think they think following the culture is the "in" thing? Or is it that the thing about Metal fans being an outsider so attractive? I personally don't find myself to be an outsider cause I listen to Metal... Should I? whee

It just depends. And when you have a room full of drunks, you're gonna get all kinds. And then there's the drunk girls. That's a whole other story... sweatdrop

Other people just get angry, hell, I got in a fight with a bunch of drunk kids at a Horse the Band/All That Remains/Dragonforce show. I was getting pulled back into the pit, and one guy called me a "poser f*****t" pulled back his elbow, and hit me flat in the nose full force. I'm not one who really likes to fight, but if some one attacks me, I'm not just going to sit and take it. After he learned that being 6'3" and 280 lbs comes with a good amount of strength, him and his cronies threatened to pull there knives on me out side the venue, lol. OMG DRAGONFORCE FANS ARE BR00TLE

I find core kids to be the worst part of Metal, the actual Metal fans I meet aren't bad, well most at least.

They took the hint. Being 6'1" 180 still has its advantages.
