Hello everyone. As I mentioned in my PoZ post this guild will be like Star Sonata/EVE Online/Freelancer/Ogame and other space based games like that.
The basic premise behind this guild is that each subforum is a Galaxy(Milky Way, Andromeda, etc..) and the only way to get to different Galaxies is to use your jump engines to travel to a solar system(Within your current galaxy) with a Hyperspace Gate to that particular Galaxy.
For example:
Player 1 is in Solar System B(Which is located in Galaxy 1), they want to get to Galaxy 2 but the Hyperpsace Gate to Galaxy 2 is located in Solar System A. So Player 1 would make a post in Solar System B saying something like "Player 1[Or the name of the ship. Ie. The Falcon] uses his/her[Or 'it' if it's the ship] jump engines to travel to Solar System A.", when their ship drops out of the jump they would post in Solar System A something like "Player 1 enters Solar System A from Solar System B" and then perhaps in a new post or the same post "Player 1 travels through the Hyperspace Gate to Galaxy 2".
We could also require the player to roll dice after they come out of a jump to see how long they have to wait before their engines can jump again(With some engines having to possibly wait longer than others.). But perhaps Hyperspace Gates wouldn't have the same penalty because they don't really require jump engines to use.
I also think it might be interesting if you can make your own alliances and your alliance can take over solar systems.
WORK THAT CAN CURRENTLY BE DONE:
-Any posts in uncharted galaxies can be deleted. They're outdated and the basic idea behind this guild has changed since then(Each Subforum used to be a Solar System, not a Galaxy).

You know what would be a great source? a game called Space Empires IV-V ever heard f it anyone? I doubt it but whatever.

Or we could pull a Super Robot Taisen and pull from every Sci-Fi source we can think of.

Woah. There are actually replies to this.. I was watching the guild page to see if the post count would rise but it wasn't rising, so I figured no one was posting. It never occured to me to actually check. XD
Anyways. Feel free to go ahead and start working on it. We're all co-owners here. 3nodding
