I was thinking, sometimes you get a used book and you find stuff in it, like bookmarks, lost papers, messages writen by the last owner. Well, I want to know what you find in books.
I found writing in most books I get. I found a birthday message written to someone in the cover of a book, the book must have been a peresten and the owner sold it. I have also found an old textbook, my bro's or sis's old one, and it had writting in it. Well, first page it said ture to page what ever, turn to that page and it told me to go to another. I followed for like five mins tell I reach the last one which said I was stupid for following the messages, I did feel stupid after that.
At the used book store in town they have a book with a really good drawing of someone in it, the store owner said it could have been drawen by someone really famous. It came in a box that cam form a place(i forgot where) where he said some famous people go, I don't know though.
The worse thing I found in a book was dried oatmeal, it was wet once too, left watermarks.

I have many stoies about those. I found a note that said "To Micheal, Love Carmela" and then a thing underneath it that said "This b***h hit me in the eye when she gave it to me." I got an old Faulkner paperback and inside it were writings and anylizations from some high school teacher. I once found a plane ticket, a dollar, a subscription card from 1960 for Newsweek and a found some old pieces of paper.

When I shelve I pull all that kind of stuff out of the books (which is why I haven't lost my job for reading all the time).
You get some interesting stuff. I get schoolgirls' notes a lot.

I have found many things in books. Homemade bookmarks, tear stains, suicide notes, love letters, old war money, love notes, old adresses, adresses for bookstores that don't exist anymore, one time I found bood stains in a book my great grandmother gave me. They were the blood drops from someone in our family who owned it a very long time ago.

I found a five dollar bill in a library book once, someone had used it as a bookmark. Also several love notes, old movie tickets, and one book I got in a used book store had pansys pressed in the pages....that made me sentimental.

I've found postcards, random slips of paper, notes, business cards, notes written on the pages and covers, and one time I found a slice of dessicated bologna in the pages of an encyclopedia.

I once found a slip on paper that said that the book sucked and I should put it down. Oddly enough, the book did suck.
