Although my friend took an AK round in Iraq and it hit the top of the ballistic plate in the back, when in and bounced around between the plate in front... and lived.

Yea, It's amazing how much the human body can withstand. Here's the website the video came from.Looking at the video again, I love how the 3 year old got smacked in the face from recoil! Hopefully he has a scar reminding him not to point guns at people and why his father is dead.
