Luna licked the small pups she had given birth to a few days ago. They had very little hair and their ears and eyes were shut. Damon had promised to come and see his new family when she had told him she had pups in 3 moons. She had awaited and now it was th eday he promised.

Feeling the now almost familiar cold on his fur Damon appeared into the Northern territory where Luna said she and the pups would be. Smelling her scent along with the pups he quickened his pace and headed toward the den she had picked.l

Luna sat in the cave.. Her wimpers bounced of the wall as she got sick to her stomach. " Is he coming...." SHe wimpered. She got up from her small children and paced on the cold stone.

Racing toward the cave he slowly made his way toward the back where he saw Luna's form and the pups small whimpers.

" Damon!" Luna cried. She left the pups were they were and ran over. She got mostly under his neck and licked his muzzle " Damon my love you are here!" She wimpered. She thought he would never some. Ever.

Licking her in return Damon nuzzled her muzzle gently. "Of course I'm here. I made a promise to be here didn't I? Now may I see the pups?" Looking over at the small huddled lumps he felt the urge to see them take hold.

She nodded lightly. Her black muzzle turne around as she walked over to the pile of pups. THey wimpered an tosed a bit but none moved like a fully grown wolf. They couldn;t

Walking behind her he hesitantly looked over her shoulder to look at the pups. "Three beautiful pups." Glancing over the three he noticed that though they had little hair they already had characteristics of both parents. Sniffing them all gently he smelled that their were two males and a female. "What do you think Luna? Should we wait until they're a bit older to name them? I'd like to name them after their personalities." Glancing at his love he waited for her response."

" I have thought of the one that looks like you already... the on with Orange fur.." She mewed. " Tenpi... it reminded her of him. Even how much the pup wanted to move. " Wouldn't i be cute if all there names started with 'T'?" She mewed turning aroun an licking the first born girl.

"Cute? In such a territory like this I didn't know cute was even known" Teasing her gently he nodded. "I guess we could name them all T names." Suddenly realizing why he had gotten here he looked at Luna seriously. "You realize what we still need to talk about?"

Her whole face drooped. She was hoping for him to stay here. But he couldn't. She looked at him and said " Yes Damon..." SHe sai now using his name. This was so hard for her.

"I know it's hard for you. It's hard for me too but we can't go against our territories. They'll kill us and hunt down our pups."
Looking sadly down at the miracles that were the pups he noticed the little silver male crawling on top of his sister and the little orange male moving off on his own.
Pushing the orange male back into the huddle and nosing the oldest boy off his sister Damon stood back to admire the pups once more.

" They don't have to know you can stay here they won't find your scent!" She said stomping her front paw. Her ears drooped more and more.

Turning to look at her seriously he moved onto the next topic which he knew would be the most painful for the both of them. "So what is going to happen with the pups?"

Luna looked at him, big eyed and confused. " Damon aren't they going to stay here... with their mother?" She asked. She wandered what he was talking about. THey had to stay with their mother didn't they.
