Lothaenorixius was out for hunting. Not of food, but of any items that pleased his eyes. He'd gathered quite a lot, but it was never enough. He always went out to find more things. Though, he loved stealing things from other's more then anything. He was black, mostly. His face was white with bits of red that looked like blood splatter. But really, it wasn't. It made other's afraid of him at times, which was good. Loth didn't really like running into others to chat with.
He was perfectly fine alone. All alone with his treasures. He made his way looking at every bit of rock, bone, and such. He really needed to make it so he could wear his items. Though, it'd take time, and he wasn't a patient creature. He'd do one thing at a time, if he found the needed material. And weather he could make it or not was another thing.
His black eyes wondered ab out the ground in front of him. Not paying attention. He was more interested in finding more things, then what could be around the area. Though, if He saw a lion, he'd be sure to flee. Unless they had items he'd be interested in snagging. He'd simply hang around them talk to them, then sneak off with their item if he could. It was simple really, yet hard at the same time.

Adetokunbo had been watching the strange masked wild dog that had entered his domain. It was his domain after all, there was a lake here that he was tending too.
His ruby eyes continued to try and figure out the strange behavior of this dog as he kept his nose to the ground. Surely he had to be looking for something. He was a collector of things too but only rare shells and rocks that bodies of water deposited. For they, he believed, where the gratefulness of the water washing up to thank him for protecting it.
He picked up an azure stone in his mouth and started off after the new dog. He was fleet footed, fast and silent as he made his approach. He knew this area well and decided to greet the stranger. Just to make sure he didn't plan to do harm to his water.
Since Lothaenorixius was distracted, he bounded his way in front of him then slowed to a stop, standing there. He dropped the stone in front of himself and lifted up his head. Almost as if appearing out of nowhere. His look was unreadable, neither interested nor aggressive. He did seem to see the other as lesser but no more then any other dog protecting his territory from other males.
"Stranger," His voice was deep, "I have come to greet you since you are in my territory." He had a proud air around him, more fitting of a pack leader then a loner. "I am the protector of this lake and will let you pass through if you do it no harm."

Lothaenorixius stopped as he saw a shadow. Ears went back as he watched the stone hit the ground. It was a pretty stone, and Lothaenorixius was more then happy to take it with or without permission. He glared at the male as he introduced himself. How the hell would he do a lake harm? He wasn't a god. He didn't speak, at least not yet. Lothaenorixius didn't want to bring any attention himself. Though it proved to be too late.
"I smell no scent upon this land, This land is very much mine as it is yours." He spoke with a cold voice. "And protecting a lake, of what? No one can harm a like like you think. Unless them a god." He added. "If I were a god, I'd have already destroyed this lovely land of yours." He smirked then went back to eying the rock the other had dropped. Threw his mind, he kept thinking of ways to get to it without the other being able to stop him. His eyes went back to the male to make him look less suspicious, but he was sure it was too later for that.

"I only scent near the lake but it encompasses this area." He responded, undeterred by the chilling voice of the other. "Much harm can come to a lake from an individual's actions. A God can do more damage, yes but many can harm water themselves. This I have seen." His eyes narrowed on the wild dog in front of him. So he was malicious. It was a good thing he stopped him before he approached his lake.
"And why is that? Has it done you harm?" He questioned watching the other carefully. He drew in the stone closer to himself. He didn't trust his wandering eyes.

"It's not a matter of who's hurt who" He spoke looking kind of frustrated that he moved the stone out of his reach. "Do you really believe a god does things if they hurt them? No, they do things to watch mortals, like us, suffer." He said. Of course, not all gods were like that, but he thought it was pretty close. Lothaenorix wasn't really malicious, he was just an outsider, and loved to play tricks on others when he had the chance.
"And you shouldn't worry about your precious lake." He added "I am in no interested in it. Nor am I thirsty." His mind was set one one thing, and that was the stone that was near the other wild dog. He wanted it, and more so now then ever since the other wouldn't give it to him. He wasn't about to tell the other what he was really doing, though it seemed he already got the hint on the reaction to putting the stone more close to him. Shame.

The large blue male just merely stared at him. "The Gods take care of our world. They do not wish to see us suffer. Though I don't doubt there are a few which do."
He allowed a subtle relief pass over his features. Good, he didn't want this male anywhere near its shores. "Good then you may pass through this area. Thank you." He told the other, picking the stone back up. It wasn't a completely allowed passage. He would have to be watched. The stone was a sign of trust for those in his territory, gifts from the lake. He didn't think this dog earned it.
He glanced over his shoulder, the stone catching the light before he started to walk away.

"Then you are truly ignorant." He spoke with a twisted little smile. "Thinking the world is so perfect, thinking most gods take care of the world. If they did, then why is it so much of a hell in the first place?" He asked the other. He found life to be not much of a pleasant place. Horrible creatures got in his way all the time. If there were said gods that took care of things, he'd have everything he ever dreamed of.
But he was very greedy. And only thought about stuff that could benefit him, and no one else. To think of a possibility of others being helped then him was just unbelievable. He was ignorant in his own way, just like everyone else. Though, threw his eyes, he wasn't at all, and everyone else was.
Damn, The male turned with the stone. Perhaps there could be another way of getting it. He'd have to sit and think about possible ways to get such a stone away from the other. Perhaps the lake was a lot bigger, and he could easily make his way around it and snatch another stone that looked just the same. Oh, the wonders that could bring. He sat there for a moment or two thinking. Also, looking as if he was resting. Licking one of his front paws, and just looking like he was ignoring the other, but really was putting all the possibilities in his mind.

"Its only a Hell if you make it a Hell." The other remarked sternly. He already sensed he didn't like this male one bit which was a rarity for him. He was generally very friendly but only to those who deserved it.
The fog almost seemed to conceal him again as he trailed back toward his lake. He'd made a small rut there that served as his den. He adored all water and didn't mind rain. He placed the stone in his rut next to the other ones and watched through the mist, making sure he didn't cause any trouble.

" Suit yourself, but one day you'll understand. You must be too young to understand the ways of this world and the gods who watch of it. For they are all cat-like, and take no care towards our k-9 creatures." He wasn't that old himself, but he could act it really well. Not like the other could tell how old he was. His mostly back body hid most of his features quite well.
When he watched the other leave, he figured now was the perfect time as any. The fog was coming in, and it seemed good. He grinned and acted as if he was still going off in a different direction, then when he figured the other wasn't watching. He made a change in direction straight where the fog was coming from.

"I'm probably older then you." He said his voice taking on a darker tone for the first real time since they've spoken. He gives a heavy shake of his head and starts to pad off. "You view the world in a sad way my friend. Many felines have offered me nothing but kindness."
He sighed as he laid down amongst his treasures. Even though his family had died from poisoned water he never believed the Gods behind it. If anything he thanked them for his survival. He's blissfully unaware of the other's ill intent to steal away his stones. He just hopes he passes through quickly and finds out life isn't as dark as he made it to be.

Lothaenorixius doubted if the other was older then him. But that really wasn't something to care about, or at least to him. He just wanted to get a stone. He didn't care if it was big or small. He moved closer to the water, not sure that the other had noticed what he was doing. He was so close. Oh so close. Only a few steps, and he'd have exactly that of the male was trying to hide from him. he could only snicker silently as he thought he was getting away with something.

Adetokunbo pricked his ears and turned his head in the darkness. He heard something and he wasn't willing to take chances. He stood over his treasures. Even if it was something small, he wasn't going to let his lake be over run by evil! He bared his white teeth and began to let out a long and dangerous warning growl. He was daring the other to try whatever he was going to do.

That didn't scare Lothaenorixius. It only made it more of a challenge. He smirked but kept quiet. Even stopped moving just to make it seem as if he left. At least for now. He didn't want to be attacked, but he didn't think the other had it in him. At least not how he talked anyways. He seemed too worked up on peace, then fighting. He took another step. this time being as quiet as possible.

His body tensed, Adeto listened for any sign of what he'd heard to appear. Nothing. Not even a sound. He snuffed at the air but only caught the scent of the fog. With a flick of his tail, he dropped back down. He must be imagining things or maybe a fish had jumped in the lake. It was hard to say. He laid his head back down, prepared to go back to resting.

Lothaenorixius started moving slower now, now that he figured the other had forgot about him. He had waited there ten minutes, and for him, that was good enough. He just had to not.... He moved a rock... The sound echoed threw the land. s**t, now why did he have to go and do that. He stopped again, and waited. At this rate, he'll be at this all night.
